My female dog was just spayed yesterday and of course was given pain medicine. It was not identified on the package what medicine it was. It's a small peach oval pill with the letter P and numbers 25 on one side. ## I located a round brownish peach colored pill with P 25 on one side and blank on the other, that was identified as Diclofenac Sodium tablet 25mg, with a National Drug Code of 16571-0203. There's also round, orangish peach colored Dilaudid with P 2 on them (and a National Drug Code of 59011-0452), but I'm not aware of its use in veterinary medicine. However, with Diclofenac being a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug and Dilaudid being a narcotic pain reliever, I couldn't help but speculate on the chance of your pill being related somehow to one or the other. ...

I found some oval peach colored pills with a 25|MG Z imprint. It's a medication for pets (cats) I think, but I can only find things that look similar yet have a different imprint than Z. My vet gave them to my 140 lb dog for pain in his joints. But it is a white elongated pill with a P on the left half and 100 on the right. He is supposed to take 1-1/2 every 12 hours as needed for pain. The vet has to check his liver every few months to be sure it isn’t causing any liver problems. ## I'm not sure but I think it may be carprofen (also known as Rimadyl). It is a NSAID commonly prescribed for veterinary use. ## It's actually prednisone. I don't know for certain, but it's most likely to be this. Do you happen to have any pets as well that were taken to the vet? I'm also just wondering if this is a veterinary pill for bronchitis in dogs. If this is the case, then we may have a match for butorphanol. Many human medications are also used in dogs and since Lisinopril is used to help lower blood pressure, it could have an effect on hers and may make her ill. Have you contacted a vet? My moms box of 25 mcg/hr fentanyl patches accidentally fell off shelf and my 10 pound dog got it and chewed it up into pieces. There were 4 three day patches in the box not sure how much she ingested. But she is asleep and breathing very shallow can't get her to stay awake . can this kill her. ## Yes it can kill her. Take her to the vet immediately !!!!! This is so serious if she even were to just lick one patch it could kill her. 10lbs is little. Please take her to the dr ASAP!!!!

My one dog has had a lot of medications. He's currently having some issues passing a bowel movement. This has been an issue in the past when his back hurts.
