What Is Black Oval Pill No Marking

I have some pills they are football shaped and are light beige they say 40 in black on one side but have no other markings. What are they please? ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing in any of our resources for a pill that meets this description and has just the number 40 on it. Where was it found/obtained? Do you have any other information on it? If there is nothing else to the imprint, this leads me to believe that it is, more than likely, something available over the counter. However, there is also a small chance that it might be a foreign medication. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## i have them too, but they are supposed to be my refill of Protonix. I have found a bag in my sons room of these capsules and when u open them they look as though they have been rolled into capsules. U can notice shiny orange specks thru them and I would like to know if anyone knows of what these may be. Any info would be appreciated. ## Hope you figured out what was in your sons rooms!!!! Approx 4.5mm thick, ~1cm wide, rounded edges slightly oval. Jelly bean size, Orange/peach colored with a black N in the middle of one side, I have three of them and they are similar. The sides are flattened, can be balance on its outside. ## Based on the description provided, this pill isn't listed in the prescription drug databases, so I can't find any information on it.
