What Is A Tylenol 3

I have been on Tylenol 3's x 3- 4 tablets a night to be able to sleep through the night without waking in pain. I have been on this for 3 years and worried about the long term effects on my kidneys I am diabetic type 2 with severe neuropathy in feet and hands and also I have a smashed elbow resulting in a plate with 20 screws and a rotary unit (?) which is scheduled for a 2nd surgery in 3 weeks. The pain is unbearable and my Dr has prescribed percocet . My daughter is concerned and says the Tylenol 3 's are better for me than the percocet. Is this true? What is this pill? It's light blue oblong. An imprint on one side says tylenol and the other side says 1075. ## Hi bpd, If one side of the pill says "Tylenol" then the active ingredient (or at least one of them) would be Acetaminophen. I was unable to locate any specific details regarding the "1075" imprint, but did stumble upon a related white oval tablet marked with "Tylenol" and "1072" that turned out to be a combination of: Acetaminophen 325 mg + Guaifenesin 200 mg + Phenylephrine 5 mg This particular tablet is reportedly manufactured by McNeil Consumer Healthcare. Perhaps the manufacturer would have additional information on the exact pill imprint you have... I hope this helps!

I got my script filled today for my pain I'm having from a miscarriage. He said he wrote me script for Tylenol with codeine but they're not helping much, and here it says it's just Tylenol.. I ask because there are Acetaminophen pills with A325 stamped on them, but they also have the letters GPI above. (see NDC 0904-1982 for example). Those pills do contain the active ingredient found in regular Tylenol, but without Codeine. Does the photo below match what you have?

While the Tylenol 3 has 30mg of codeine and the other has 10 mg of condone wouldn't the Tylenol 3 be stronger ## I have been taking Tylenol 3 for eight years, going 2 to 3 times a day to washroom, eat loads of fruit and fibre. I have to take T3 at least once a day a sometimes not at all Depending on my bowel movements.
