I just received these tablets in the mail. I was prescribed to this medication but haven't been able to get back to my doctor to renew. The pills look very different. It is a green tablet with no markings except for a break line on one side. The packet says Fluoxetine IP and Tritin-20. I have been given Fluoxetine capsules and I'm wondering if they are placebos? I opened one up and to me looks white powdery and kinda fluffy is this Fluoxetine? ## Do you have a picture? Capsule, green top with M in black, grey bottom with 105 in black = generic fluoxetine (Prozac) 10mg made by Canadian pharmaceutical company Mint Pharmaceuticals. I realized I had my Rx filled with this generic rather than my usual (Novo), when I went looking for reasons why my anxiety had skyrocketed over the previous 2 weeks+/-. So my wife recently switched to Walmart to get her Fluoxetine 20MG tabs to save money. She ended up with Northstar Rx LLC brand pills. These are blue dark/light with A106 on them. It's been 3 days now of anxiety, diarrhea, and just all out feeling bad. what is purple and green pill marked g-fl 20 ## This is probably a Fluoxetine (Prozac) capsule from a company in New Zealand called Pacific Pharmaceuticals. The purple side has symbol that looks like a Q if you look at it up-wise. I want to know if there's benzo in prozac ingredients ## Hi shay, I think you may have mistaken the drug class for an active/inactive ingredient. To answer your question, Prozac (Fluoxetine) is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class; not having any chemical relation to benzodiazepine medication like Xanax. If you'd like to know which inactive ingredients are present in your pill, please post back with a description of the tablet (i.e. shape, color, imprints, etc), and I can look that info up for you. They contain Fluoxetine and have the PharmaScience PMS logo on them. As to this one, which you said is a tablet, with just the P and L10 on it, I am sorry, but I can't find a listing for this in any of our prescription drug resources. Looking up this drug, cant find it in my drug book ## You wouldn't find this, if you were looking in one that's relevant to the U.S. or Canada, it isn't a name brand that's available in either country. If I look-up medications that can sound similar to this, there are quite a few possibilities: Sarafem, which contains Fluoxetine, an antidepressant. Serax, which contains Oxazepam, a Benzodiazepine.
