I am a 20 year old female and I am severely underweight (37.5KG) and I have been this weight for the past four years. I have been underweight my whole life but I do not have any form of eating disorder. I have tried desperately to gain weight in many ways and failed. I have been ;on tamoxifen for 5 yrs. due to breast cancer. I gained 40 pounds. Will I lose weight when I get off the tamoxifen. Hi i have been on xeralto since july 2014. i have extreme fatigue, weight gain,abdominal pain, occassional woozy spells with dizziness. now i am having blurred vision with my glasses on cant see happened while driving scared me. i drove very slow till i got home and it is still happening for 2days now. i do have a headache as well and going into deep sleep. any onr have.this. I am moving from Effexor XR to wellbutrin xl because of severe weight gain. I have been trying to wean myself off to start the new medicine but I can't side the moodiness. I am using the practin tablet in 8month, then my weight are normal so i quite, But after 6month decrease my weight, How to constant of weight ## Because the weight gain is a side effect of the medication and such side effects wear off, after you stop taking it. That is generally why doctors won't prescribe them as the first option, when someone is underweight, they know it is not a permanent fix. I started my Tamoxifen today. 1st pill of five years. So far today, so good. Y biggest concern (after the obvious) is weight gain. I have been in Weight Watchers for a year and have worked so hard in my weight loss journey. I am so afraid it will come back. Are there many cases out there of people maintaining their weight or is it that big of a side effect that it's pretty much guaranteed? Any and all comments would be appreciated!! Decdan contains Dexamethasone, which is actually a steroid class medication, it is also used to treat allergic reactions and some other medical conditions.
