diagnosed with e coli bacteria. used zedot for 5 days ( 1-1-1) followed by vibact ds for 15 days .diarrhea subsided while taking medicines but continued after discontinuing of medicines, pl suggest ## Have you consulted your doctor, again? ViBact is just a supplement product, not an actual medication, that contains Probiotics and it is often given to treat gastro-intestinal problems, such as diarrhea, to help balance out the body. Zedot contains the active ingredient Racecadotril and is often given to treat similar things. However, you may still have a problem with the EColi, which may require further medical treatment.

what is difference between vibact and vibact ds capsule ## Regular Vibact contains: bacillus mesentericus TO-A JPC 1 million, clostridium butyricum TO-A 2 million, lactobacillus 50 million, Streptococcus faecalis T-110 JPC 30 million. These are probiotics and it is given as an antidiarrhea medication. However, I can't find any information on Vibact-DS. It isn't listed in my resources. Do you have any other information on it? Looking at all the allergic reactions to Bactrim. If there is any way you can use another antibiotic, do so. This medication is seriously dangerous. I say this as a nurse, and also as a victim of a sulfa allergy. I was put on Bactrim for a MRSA infection. Long story short... Developed aseptic viral meningitis for the Bactrim. Ended up in the hospital for four days. Worst illness ever!!!! Look for fevers, severe headache, stiff neck. It will also cause "thrush" or yeast in your mouth. Painful. Rashes, vomiting, and loss of appetite are also common side effects. Avoid this medication if at all possible. Bacterial vaginosis can be difficult to clear up, it does have a nasty habit of returning and the bacteria may have just spread to the bladder, as well. And yes, multiple antibiotics like this are often prescribed, in such cases where an infection is treatment resistant and spreading. I took bactrim generic to treat a vaginal labia cyst in late Oct, marsupialization surgery. The heavy duty bactrim seemingly got rid of the infection in that spot. That said, I suffered, for five weeks from acid poo and skin irritation down there, colitis syptoms like eat and then toilet time diarhea for five weeks. Plus, I got a painful diaper rash, and two yeast infections. Also, every time I shaved, even with a premium new razor - I got cuts on my thighs that filled with small amounts of pus. I have a cut on my leg and my Dr gave me Bactrim Ds for Cellulitis infection. Is this the correct med for treating CELLULITIS? ## Hi Marie, Most of the time, Cellulitis treatment involves antibiotics taken by mouth and is later followed-up by your doctor.
