Please help!! I have found four white oblong shaped pills that are scored on one side and the other side has what looks like a Fleur de Lis symbol followed by what looks like the number 14 but it could be another symbol you aren't able to really make out what it is! I have searched all over the net and cannot find anything that looks like these pills! They were found mixed in a bottle of Daypro 600, I have no idea what these pills are or how they got there! Please help me identify these pills asap!!! ## How old is the bottle of Daypro they were found in? That might help narrow down where/when to look. The closest I've found, so far, is an over the counter 500mg Acetaminophen tablet that uses a logo and the number 014 on one side. I'll keep looking to see what else I can find...

found a empty old bottle worth any thing ## @westly, An empty bottle is an empty bottle... I'd probably throw it away if I were you. Besides, if there's nothing in it I just don't see why anyone would feel it's worth holding onto, do you? Empirin is another brand of Aspirin, which you can pick up over the counter at any pharmacy, most convenience stores, gas stations and even supermarkets. It's literally everywhere. Do you usually recycle your medicine bottles? If so, I think that's a good thing. They might only give you 5 cents for it though? I wish you the best of luck! ## I have a full unopened bottle stamped professional sample. Picked it up at an auction in a small lot box for 2.00 for everything in the box ## contrary to what you posted, the bottle the gent...

pills r white...no numbers letters or scores...bottle brown glass 1-1 1\2 inches long white metal lid but too worn to tell what was once there ## Hello, Jen! How are you? From what you've said, I get the impression that they are quite old and with no markings or identifying label, it's going to be difficult to determine what they contain. Years ago, many patent medications were packaged like this, which makes it difficult to even guess if it was a prescription or over the counter product. Does anyone else recognize these? I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. ## I found an old brown glass bottle with a p and a d on the lid. It contains these tiny white tabs with no markings or scores. I can't find any info on them ## I found the same thing. Br...

I have a severe tooth ache that came on Friday night during our campout. Just got home Sunday morning and it is getting so bad I can't sleep. I found a bottle of propoxy n apap 100 650 tab medicine that was prescribed in 09. It says to discard after 7/28/09. I am desperate for some relief. Is it unsafe? My dentist won't be in until tomorrow. ## Hello, Nola! How are you feeling? I am very sorry about the toothache. No, this medication is not safe to take. All drugs containing Propoxyphene and its relatives were removed from the market several years ago, because it was found to be cardiotoxic and many people suffered adverse events, some of which were fatal. This is one that you really need to just toss out. If the pain is severe, you can go to your nearest ER and they should be a...

Keizer Permanente is huge and corporate and in every city. They throw them at you sometimes with little information. I had an injury and was ok n 165 mg oxycodone and 60 morphine 25 mg. Transfered to Keizer and walked out without a pain magreement and a huge bottle of 250 15 mg . oxycodone.for a copay b of 10 bucks. Every month another refill. Dr eventually left then got a cooler one then a strict one. Be careful. These Dr's at Keizer are riding in the back of the med bus ans often sstep off quick so who knows what your next dr well be like. I had 5. It's like a stopover for Dr's out of residency. i have a bottle of ten year old morphine and i was wondering if it would be dangerous to take them.... ## Morphine doesn't get dangerous, when it's expired, but it does lose effectiveness and, after 10 years, I doubt there is much potency left to treat pain and do much of anything. This is a narcotic, so in case there is some potency left, you also shouldn't try taking more to get the same effect, because you could run the risk of overdose. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Have old ampoules of morphine as a powder with a cork at both ends. Can anybody throw some light on its age and history? ## Without a visual reference it would be difficult to estimate the age and or condition. ## I filled ...

I have a prescription for Cymbalta thats about 6yrs old...will the pills still work? ## At this point, you should really just properly dispose of them. Once they are removed from the original factory sealed bottle, tablets and capsules have a one year expiration date, because they are then exposed to the elements, which hastens degradation. This means that they lose effectiveness over time, thus after this many years, they are most likely worthless. Learn more Cymbalta details here. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have some amoxicillin that is 3 months old prescribed to me for my abscessed tooth can I still take it because my abscess is back ## There should be an expiration date on the bottle, once past that date, the best thing to do is dispose of it and obtain a new supply, if needed, from your doctor, or dentist. However, if you did not finish the full course of treatment originally, that may be why the infection has returned. Additionally, if you did not have the original underlying problem corrected, which caused the infection, that could also cause it to return. The FDA warns that this medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. ... and if you don't have enough left to finish a full course of treatment, you may find your...

My sister dropped a bottle of prednisone 5mg, she counted the pill and believes there are 2 pills missing, but is not sure. My 2-year-old was near her and we don't know if she swallowed one or not. What can I give her to ensure safety? ## Hello, Kelly! How is your daughter? Did she experience any adverse effects? Any time you are concerned about the health, welfare and life of a child, you should consult emergency services. Taking too much of this medication could result in overdose conditions, according to FDA reports, which might include elevated blood pressure, and heart rate, either of which could cause possibly fatal issues.

I just picked up my prescription for my 12 year old son for mylan 6160 and when I got home, I noticed the pills were different than the ones he had been taking. The pharmacy had apparently filled the 6160 labelled bottle with 6180 pills. If I hadn't noticed, what would have been the results for a 12 year old diagnosed last year with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy if he had taken them? Do I have any recourse against my local pharmacy, whom when I called them, calmly said, just bring them in and we'll switch them. They are very small and only have a 2 on one side. They were in a small glass bottle so they are probably old, but i still want to find out what they are. Any help would be awesome ## To be honest, if they are old then that lowers that chances of them being identified. I am not saying it's not possible, but it does lower the likelihood of it happening. Mainly due to the fact that once a medication is discontinued, the imprint changed or etc. then it is no longer listed in the databases. The imprint can even be used again for an entirely different medication, after some time has passed. Just as an example, since I don't know if that's what this is, but at one point there was a 2mg Diludid pill with a 2 on it that was small and white, it is a narcotic that contains the active ...

My 10 month old girl was prescribed Pinaclav 125 mg to take 5ml/3 times daily for 7 days. I was just wondering if it is ok to give so much medication (not 2.5ml).The other issue being that the bottle has less than the 7x15ml=105ml required. Medication was given by the GPs on duty during the night(not her own GP), it was made by them & the doctor gave my husband a spoon to administer it (rather than syringe). Therefore I am in doubt. Please help! Thank you so very much! ## What happened with this? I see it was posted at the beginning of June. Did you end up getting a syringe for her? they are usually easy to obtain and make it much safer to administer a medication to an infant. Learn more Augmentin information here.

my baby at 8 days old was diagnosed with MRSA in his eyes. We've been on iv antibiotics and when he was sent home he was prescribed clindamycin in an oral form. 2 1/2 ML for 5 days. Well the MRSA returned shortly after we finished the 5 days. So he is back on it for 10 days. My question is we are using the same bottle of clindamycin that is now 2 weeks old. Do we need to get a prescription for a new bottle of clindamycin? As you know MRSA is a nightmare and very hard to get rid of. I want him to be getting the best medication he can get. ## Hello, Jessica! How is your son doing? My 12 year old 106lb daughter was prescribed this today by her dr. for an infection on her arm. I was reading the side effects and was getting nerves and it also didnt list the dose on the bottle just said take it 3 times a day for 10 days. I called the pharmacy and the doctors and they both said that the dose is 800 and the pharmacist said that when they ran it through their computer it didnt raise any red flags with the dose. But all the info ive been reading it says its usually taking 2 times a day every 12 hours. Im kind of nerves about weither this is to much for her to be taking.
