I've been on Effexor for about three weeks after a change over from Wellbutrin. I am taking 75 mgs twice a day. I am feeling so much better, but over a week ago I started spotting. I have been given flagyl and vagaisil...but i started taking them this will be my 3rd day but i am getting abdominal pain and cramps really bad. I feel tjem in my ovaries to is that normal. ## It is most likely from the Flagyl, which contains the active ingredient Metronidazole, it can cause abdominal cramping as a side effect.
