I have looked all over the internet for this pill and I can't find anything about it. All it has on it is VP50 it's white and oblong. I have found several in my sons room along with some sleep aid but for the life of me I can't figure out what they are!!!! Can anyone help PLEASE??????? ## Hi Amy, Based on your description, the closest match I'm seeing is a white oblong pill imprinted with VP 120 on one side and blank on the other. It's reportedly identified as a Sulfamethoxazole (800mg) + Trimethoprim (160mg) DS tablet, used for treating a variety of bacterial infections. I realize the imprint isn't spot on, but because they are very similar, I get the sense that they may be manufactured by the same company (Vista Pharmaceuticals) - hence the "VP". Perhap...

The white pill has a groove on one side and "P 500" on the other. It is white and round. What is it? ## Hi Chris, I found one possible ID for this pill based on the description provided. The pill with this imprint has been identified as Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (500 mg). It is white, but also capsule-shaped or oval as opposed to round. This seems to be the only discrepancy in relation to what you described it as. For further verification, it is Manufactured by Pack Pharmaceuticals, LLC. and the National Drug Code (NDC) is: 16571-0412 Please post back if you can confirm whether or not your pill is an elongated (oval) round shape or simply a perfect circle. Thanks! I hope this helps!

I found some pills in my kid's room that are white oblong tablets with 5500 on one side & nothing on the other. What is this pill? ## The marking is actually "S500" instead of "5500" (first letter S instead of number 5). As others have stated, it contains Acetaminophen 500 mg (NDC 68210-0013 among others). Here is an example of what a box may look like, but it could be packaged under multiple brands. Inactive Ingredients: - Hypromellose 2208 (15000 Mpa.s) - Magnesium Stearate - Microcrystalline Cellulose - Polyethylene Glycol, Unspecified - Povidone, Unspecified - Starch, Corn - Stearic Acid - Talc - Titanium Dioxide (Since this is an over the counter product, inactive ingredients may differ by manufacturer). Found this white pill with the marking "AP 500". Not APO or anything else!! Please help. Again "AP" on one side and "500" on the other. Thank you. ## I'm trying to figure out the same thing only this one has AP 500 on the same side. ## What pill is AP500? I found a bottle filled with these, but no name, and can't seem to find it anywhere. ## I don't know the answer but it's most likely something over the counter, or it could also be from outside the US. If it were a standard US prescription drug I'd expect it to be found on DailyMed or another prescription database. ## It's an OTC pain medication. Tylenol, maybe generic, 500 mg

I have a pill that is supposed to be 5 milligram Percocet.... So this pill is oval and on one side it has "500" and on the other side it says "6 slash 32" ## A tablet with G 32 on one side and 500 on the other side contains 500mgs of Naproxen, is manufactured by Glenmark Generics. NDC code: 68462-190 The color is very pale, so it does look white to many people. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation, increased risk of bleeding, and headache. So no, it is not Percocet, or any type of narcotic. Inactive ingredients may include: microcrystalline cellulose croscarmellose sodium povidone magnesium stearate Though they can vary, depending on the manufacturing facility. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have these oblong pills with A 1 on one side and 58 on the other. What are they? ## The closest match I'm finding to your description is that of a white round pill marked with "A" over "158", with a horizontal score line in between. This particular pill is identified as Meperidine hydrochloride 50 mg; a narcotic analgesic indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. Manufacturer: Actavis US National Drug Code (NDC): 52152-0158 Does this sound like it could be a viable match? ## No I'm sorry this is an oval pill that has A 1 on one side and 58 on the other. It's a white pill blank on one side and has p500 on the other side ## Hi Ashley, *A white oval pill with a "P" on one side and "500" on the other reportedly contains 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin; used for treating infections. *A pink oval pill with "P500" on one side and blank on the other reportedly contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen + 100mgs of Propoxyphene napsylate; taken for pain relief. I understand that the description is slightly off, but unfortunately these are the two closest possibilities I could locate here. The pink pill described above is said to have been manufactured by Pliva. Because the imprint is identical it may be a good idea to contact the manufacturer directly just to see if they've ever changed the color of this specific tablet to white. ...

It's upside down. it's actually 05 52 with an M on the backside. It's an oxycodone 5mg. ## Hi Swim, Thanks for posting the correct imprint. "M 25 50" appears to be a common mistake with this particular pill. For verification I can also confirm that this is a 5mg Oxycodone tablet, used to treat moderate to severe pain. If anyone else out there is seeking additional information, the manufacturer of this pill is Mallinckrodt, and it has a National Drug Code of 00406-0552. What is a white oblong pill with "L434" on one side and nothing on the other? ## Based on your pill description, I've located an "oblong" (capsule-shaped) white tablet marked L484, as well as a "round" white pill marked L434. The L484 tablet contains Acetaminophen 500 mg (NDC 30142-0484); a mild pain reliever and fever reducer. While the L434 pill contains Pseudoephedrine (60 mg) + Triprolidine (2.5 mg); which is used to help relieve a common cold, hay fever, and allergies. (NDC 00113-0434). Is it possible that you may have mistaken the "8" for a "3"?

Hey anyone know about this pill my cousin is telling me its Clomid 50 mg..... It is square with bp on one side 50 on the other its white. ## Hi Tony, MedsChat actually has another discussion thread on this same topic debating on how the pill description is a toss up between Clomid 50mg and a 50mg Winstrol [a steroid] tablet made by Balkan Pharmaceuticals (hence the "bp"). You can view the conversation here: Discuss/square-white-pill-with-bp-on-one-side-and-50-on-the-other-183666.htm Personally, I get the hunch it's Winstrol, but a lab analysis may be your best bet for 100% verification. Hope this helps!

I've found a white oblong pill with rounded ends. It's embossed with "L404" on one side, while the other side is plain. Thank you in advance for any help identifying it. ## I think that the imprint being reported is actually L484 instead of L404. Is it possible that the '8' is just worn down? If so, then the tablet in question is actually just an over the counter pain reliever containing Acetaminophen 500 mg (not a narcotic). NDC 49348-042 among others. Inactive Ingredients: - Carnauba Wax - Starch, Corn - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Povidones - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed ## I believe your pill is Acetaminophen 325mg, Dextromethorphan 15mg, Guaifenesin 200mg, phenylephrine 5mg, which are active ingredients in Cold PE Severe Congestion, an OTC combo. #...

TWO TRIANGLES ## The pill you are describing should be 500 mg Metformin for treating type 2 diabetes. The only other detail which would be helpful is if you can confirm that the other side has "500" printed on it, to indicate the dosage. I based the answer off the following imprint: |><| (except vertical instead of horizontal), then 4331 The hourglass logo represents the manufacturer IVAX.

I found a white round pill that says "Citra" on one side and "50" on the other. I’m thinking it’s Tramadol, but can’t find any images on the web. I mostly see there are some from Mexico that are pink or white but have no imprint. I’m baffled as to what this pill might be. ## I’ve never seen Citra use an imprint.
