I stumbled here and I'm in awe so many people are addicted to heavy duty pain meds. The Pharma's are getting richer and people are getting sicker. What a travesty. ## Hi Kim, It really is a shame to sit back and watch pharmacies grow richer while patients struggle and become entirely dependent upon the pharmacy...just to get through everyday life. In my opinion the best way to get back at pharmacies is to stick to natural alternatives, such as fruits/veggies, essential oils, herbs, meditation, etc, for our long term health. Many medications seem to contain extracts from plants anyways, so it makes sense that we should be using more raw plant matter that our bodies actually agree with.

I am training really hard, but I don't get sore after. Could this be because of the xeralto. Thank you ## Hello, Ange! How are you? I doubt it, Xeralto is actually reported by the FDA as causing aches and pains as side effects in some people that take it. As to your training, are you usually doing the same things at the same intensity? Because, if so, then it is normal for your body to get used to it and stop getting so sore and achy.

I'm just desperate to get in touch with other parents who have already gone through this or are currently. My daughter out of nowhere became constipated at 7 mths old. Testing, specialist appts., naturopaths, diet after diet and our new norm has been Miralax for almost 2 years. Half a cap every day has been her latest dose for regularity. She will soon be 4 next month and still wears diapers, because she poos in her underwear, pull up, and diaper. What she wears doesn't matter. She has 6-8 mths ago successfully and willingly without my knowledge gone to the toilet and successfully had a number 2. We've just had regression honestly since summer 2017. It is so hard to pinpoint the exact reason she refuses to number 2 on the toilet. I think it's a combination of being afrai...

Hi there! This is my second post on this issue and desperately need advice. I was diagnosed with tennis elbow a month back which i am sure was due to my heavy weight training. I took a 5 day seradic-p medication course but it helped only while i was on it. Now its been close to a month and it still hurts my elbow joint when i extend my arm or fold it tightly. My problem is that i DESPERATELY NEED TO RESUME MY WORKOUT JUST LIKE OLD DAYS. Cardio bores me to death. I guess the next appointment i would need to take would be that with a psychaiatric if i have to wait any longer before i resume my workout. Please help me advise how should i go about it? Is there any medication, ointment etc that would help me get rid of this probblem for good? Kindly help and advise.

Wondering if there are any restrictions on working out and weight training while on Warfarin? My doctor suggested not lifting more than 50 lbs. I just want to get toned and lose the flab. ## If your doctor didn't give you any other restrictions, then you should be fine, but you should always follow their instructions for your safety. Warfarin may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and dizziness. Is there anything I can help with?

"NPs and PAs who complete the required training and seek to prescribe buprenorphine for up to 30 patients will be able to apply to do so beginning in early 2017. Previously, only physicians could prescribe buprenorphine. Once NP's and PA's receive their waiver they can begin prescribing buprenorphine immediately." hhs.gov/about/news/2016/11/16/additional-steps-expand-opioid-treatment.html ## I saw that they are now able to do the training to be able to write for Buprenorphine. Where I live, we have the option of 2 or 3 Buprenorphine doctors that are all 30+ miles away. I live in a small town that is absolutely consumed with drugs, nearly everyone here is on some type of opiate and there simply aren't enough spots in the treatment facilities for all of these people. 60 year old triathlete in perfect condition had severe stroke with hemiplegia. First 18 months steady recovery... feeling well, no weight gain. 6 months after stroke I'm back training 6-8 hour (bike ride, weight training and swimming) per week. However, 3 month ago doctor insisted I start Xarelto (this was the only change in a very structured life). Since then I've put on 20 pounds, started retaining water like crazy, all the while on the strict training schedule and diet. Now I'm having so many muscle pain and strains, especially in the legs and shoulders that I've had to stop training. Now the weight is really piling up and the BP is getting hard to control. ## Yes, Xarelto has been known to cause these types of side effects, you are not the first person to report such...

So I have a regular 27 day cycle and I started my pill last week and not on the first day of my period to get my body used to it before marathon nov 4th. It has been a while since i was on the pill. Im taking lo loestrin.ok, so I got a little relaxed with hearing what you all said here. I spoke to my doctor today and told her i'll skip the placebo and go from one pack to starting another pack until i'm done with the marathon on nov 4, to hold off my period. She goes, well then there is a very strong chance if you do this you will have breakthrough bleeding for a very long time or a very long period until the marathon. Im freaked a little, please let me know your thoughts? or should i let my period come finish the full pack with placebo pills - and avoid placebo (last 4 pills) fo...

Searching for a doctor who will prescribe me suboxone in my area ## If you're asking for a specific medication AND shopping for a doctor... RED FLAG! You need to be going to Narcotics Annonymous instead of a Quack Doctor... ## need to find a doctor to help me got on suboxone fast a posabal ## how do i get doctor name for suboxone ## You would need to go to the Suboxone website, they list the doctors in various areas that are allowed to prescribe it and provide Suboxone therapy. A regular doc, who has not gone through the specific training and educational programs for it, cannot prescribe it. Here's the site: Suboxone.com Click Here ## Oh, and like Jessica said in her post, with the red flags you are raising here, you will not be able to just get this anywhere. They will not use ...

Trying to taper off xanax or get some in Chicago area. Any help? What doc will help me? ## From what I could gather, Dr. Zabrin Inan is a psychiatrist in Chicago, IL who seems to have a track record that many online reviewers describe as someone who is "pill happy". The phone number to her office is 773-752-6000. I would think someone like this should be able to prescribe you a comfortable amount to taper off with over several weeks time. None the less, if you suffer from anxiety and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe contro...

Bipolar needs dr who can prescribe methadone in alb. NM ## What is the Methadone needed for? If it's for pain, then any doctor can prescribe, though consideration would have to be given to any other medications the person is on. Learn more Methadone details here. However, if it's for addiction treatment, then that can only be done in a clinical setting by those who are specially trained to do so.

does anyone know of a doctor in southern ca (ie,oc,la) that will prescribe methadone? or somewhere to get a dr. online? ## Hello, Sicknick! How are you? In order to have Methadone prescribe for any reason, you'll need to actually be physically seen by a doctor for an exam and regular monitoring, while you're on it, so it cannot be prescribed and ordered online. As to getting a doctor to prescribe it, that depends on what you're taking it to treat. If you're taking it for pain, then you'd need to see a pain management specialist. However, if it's for addiction treatment, then you can only be treated for that in a clinical setting by those specially trained in its use for such and it would be illegal for a regular doctor to prescribe it for that. The FDA classifies...

Trying to find doctors near Devon and Western in N Chicago that can prescribe methadone for pain treatment. ## Any doctor can prescribe it for pain, however, you may run into problems if you're calling new doctors and asking if they'll prescribe it, since most doctors will consider that to be drug seeking behavior. You need to make sure you get an appointment and get in the door first, then discuss your options with them. Learn more Methadone details here. And if you're a chronic pain patient that requires regular treatment, then a regular general practitioner will not be able to provide you with treatment. Under the new laws, you will have to enter pain management and be treated by a physician that has been specially trained in pain control. Does anyone have a place they ca...

In Oklahoma and needing a doctor who will prescribe Xanax or alprazolam. Anyone on here know of one around Tulsa OKC area? I'll drive wherever I need to go. My dr retired, new doc won't rx.. ## Personally, I think if you suffer from anxiety/depression and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and can "also" help you treat the underlying cause of your anxiety or depression, as opposed to temporarily covering up the feelings/emotions with medication. Posted below are a few options I came across in the Tulsa, OK area: Peter A Rao, MD Laureate Psychiatric Clinic & Hospital 5...

I am wanting to get a puscription for methadone because I realy am having a hard time on getting back on track as a normul life ## Hello, Guera! How are you? This website is an information only website, there is no one here that prescribes medications. Addiction treatment with Methadone must be done through a clinic by those who are specially trained in its use for such. This is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you checked for a clinic in your area?

Any help? ## Just be honest with him tell him the 5's are'nt helping you anymore.I told my doctor my perk 10's were'nt helping me at all,she gave me 30mg roxies.Try it,all he or she can do,is ignore your request,i would try that, and if it did'nt work i would be finding me another pain clinic. ## What type of doctor are you seeing? hey, i'm trying to find a psychiatrist in washtenaw county that will write scrips for depression and chronic pain ## It is very unlikely that you will find one that prescribes both, because treating pain is not what they are trained to do. In most cases, they will only prescribe psychiatric medications and you must see your general practitioner or pain management specialist for pain medications, if appropriate. Do you have a regular physician?

My 18 year old son has been to out, and in-patient treatment programs for alcohol abuse. He seems to have no will power whatsoever when it comes to his friends and or drinking. He is an athlete in incredible shape. He works 5 days a week. He works out with 2 different trainers 5 days a week. He is supposed to be going to college to play football in August. He pushes his body to the limit all week, then on the weekend, he says he won't drink, but somehow always starts and doesn't stop till he's completely ...passed out. I've been hearing about medications to help control the urge to drink.Naltrexone,Topiramate. I'm hoping he can get a handle on it before it completely destroys his future.ANY HELP PLEASE. Kay
