Since last 1 year I am taking Thyronorm 50mcg when my TSH was 15.6. Presently since last 6 month or so the TSH level is 2 to 3 . I take TSH & FT4 test regularly. Now a days I have feeling of upset stomach, gastritis, constipation. Should I reduce the doses to 25mcg. or stop taking medicine ## TSH 2-3 is fine. I am 24 yrs old. My tsh was 26 and t3/t4 was normal. My physician prescribed me 50mcg thyronorm so I have been taking it since september and am experiencing weight loss. Once I checked my tsh, t3 and t4 it was normal. Is it necessary to continue this medication for lifelong treatment? I am a 36 yr old female. Diagnosed with hypothyroidism with very high antibody titre. Initially prescribed with levothyroxine 50mcg, weight gain of 6 lbs per year. Had to change endocrinologist, new prescription for thyronorm 75mcg. Current weight gain is 4 kgs per month, after taking thyronorm 75 for 30 days. Also, thyronorm intake resulted in joint pain, which was not experienced during levothyroxine intake. Should I revert back to levothyroxine 50 or continue thyronorm 75? ## They are both the same medication, Levothyroxine, the Thyronorm is just a brand name for it, so the only difference is in the dosage. hello Doctor...my daughter is 3 years old and is under thyronorm medication since birth (congenital hypothyroidism).She takes 62.5 mcg of thyronorm every morning regularly. This morning she just chewed about 10-12 additional 50mcg tablets in a flash before we could realise. We immediately made her vomit things and took her to a nearby hospital who also sent a tube through her noose and cleaned her stomach. But the doctor has asked us to be at the hospital for a 24hr observation. hi. .my height is 155cm n weight is 66kgs.. i put on 13 kgs in 2 months. my physician told me to go for a thyroid test.. my tsh level was high and prolactin too.. i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Hi, due to some reason I delayed the pregnancy check up and when done during 9th week I was diagnosed with hypothyroid problem with TSH level 8.9. Sir, I have been using Thyronorm 50mcg for 4 weeks. Before that My T3 =95; T4=7.2 and TSH was 21.26uiU/ml. Dr. asked me to check the levels after 8 weeks. As per ur answer it is for every 6 weeks. What to do? I started doing warm up exercises daily. Frequently I am getting pain in my right hand. My age is 61 yrs. I am 23 years old and im using Thyronorm 50mcg frm 7 years for hypothyroid.I put on weigth gradually.[Height 5 feet .8inch..weight was 83kgs]Because of irregular cycles after a scanning doctor told me that i have PCOD[identified 3-4years back] but i did not take any pills for PCOD and started working out and my cycles became very regular and i lost some weight gradually in 1 year[came upto 73kgs].i Keep doing TSH test once in 6 months and continuing the same 50mcg.Now from past 1.5 year i do regular workout with a very controled diet [reduced carbs intake a lot] , but i have been almost maintaning my 74 kgs but not reducing at all.My weight regularly changes 2 kgs up and down with what i eat.but nevere comes down below 73 how much ever strict diet i follow.Is this because of my thyroid?...
