Just because they are shipping them doesn't mean that any pharmacy is obligated to have it in stock. They will usually carry the one from whatever manufacturer was offering the cheapest price at whatever time they needed to restock their supply. I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are subutex. I went to Actavis' website and searched their products. I am in Tennessee, and have been prescribed Suboxone 8/2mg ratio, and was told that the blister packs are the best for people I tried the Amneal orange generic, and it didn't work as well as the white ones I have had in the past. If you know of any pharmacy that carries them please let me know. It said cvs carried them, but I went to five different cvs and they told me "we are not accepting new patients for that drug", so cvs is out and it's the only one I knew that carried the brand manufactured by Actavis Pharmaceuticals, recently acquired by Teva pharmaceuticals. Does Walgreens carry the white Suboxone (Buprenorphine/naloxone), or rite-aid. Any advice is appreciated.
