I am 50 Yrs Old Male & was diagonsed with high BP ( 145-50/100-110) during Mar-14 & was advised Telma-AM Tablets. Since then I have lost 5 Kg weight (Wt in Mar, 90 Kg & Now 85 Kg). My BP reading came down to 120-125/75-80. I have been advised to take Telma 40 since last 15 days. Can I further reduce these dosage & go for low dosage Telms 20 . If my wt get reduced further & BP is in control, can I stop taking these tablets.

I was taking Natrilex Sr 1.5 earlier. Now with the BP being higher than 80 (between 90 and 95) for many evenings, I consulted a doctor who advised me to take Telma 40 with Natrilex. I had severe burning sensation on top of the head since mid November 2015. On 21/11/2015, my physician asked me to take Telsartan 40mg every morning as my BP was 178//100. Even after taking the tablets for one month, the burning in the head continued and on 23/12/2015, I visited a neuro physician who advised a CT scan of the head. The scan was normal but my BP was 180/114 and hence I was asked to meet the physician to bring down the BP immediately.
