Telma Am Tablet Side Effect

My father (post CABG, 65 yrs) has been taking Telma AMH 40 instead of Telma AM 40 (which he took for a year or so post CABG) since last 3 months. Recently he was diagnosed with unexplained loss of electrolytes (hyponatremia, Na was 104 when detected, and corrected till 122). Can this loss be due to the usage of Telma AM or AMH? Rest of his reports are coming normal, so we are not able to diagnose the causative factor. ## Yes, it might be caused by the Telma AMH, which contains the active ingredients Telmisartan, Amlodipine and Hydrocholorothiazide. I was taking Natrilex Sr 1.5 earlier. Now with the BP being higher than 80 (between 90 and 95) for many evenings, I consulted a doctor who advised me to take Telma 40 with Natrilex. However, I have experienced certain dizziness after taking this medicine. Should I continue or take only Natrilex? I am 45 years old having family history of hypertension. That's why my doctor advised to take telma 20 as 1-0-0 on daily basis. My BP is quite normal 120/80 whether I take the medicine or not. i have been on Telma H and Amlo Denk for more than a year and i experience the following: headaches excrutiating pain on my anle joint every morning or walking after sitting for a long time excrutiating back pain every morning high frequency of urinating in the evening feeling tired ## Telma-H contains Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, the Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic and removes fluid from the body, this would explain the frequent urinating. When do you take this? If you're taking it at night, you should speak to your doctor about taking it in the morning, so you aren't having to get up to urinate so much at night.
