I've been prescribed naproxen tablets that says on bottle,Take ONE tablet -TWO TWICE daily. Am I taking two daily( one morning and night) or four daily as in two in the morning and two in the afternoon? ## Take one in the morning and one at night. ## Have you double checked with your pharmacist, or doctor? That wording is a bit hard to understand, it could mean to take one tablet twice daily, or that you could take one to two tablets twice daily. The FDA warns that this medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. I am on hydrocodone 20mg 5 times a day and I do not think the pharmacy is giving me enough for 30 days. How many milligrams is the pharmacy suppose to give me? ## Hi Deborah; 20mg 5 * per day = 100mg per day. 100mg per day * 30 days = 3,000mg total. Or in terms of tablets, 5 tablets per day * 30 days = 150 tablets total. I hope this makes sense and is helpful. Does that seem right to you?

However I would recommend double checking this with your doctor first, in case he or she has special instructions for your individual case. I have been on oxycodone 30 mg 4 times a day for years and it seems not to be working as well. Should it be ok to ask my Dr to up my amount taken daily? ## There are higher doses that your doctor can prescribe, though they likely won't direct you to take it more frequently throughout the day. I have been subscibed prednisilone 25mg daily as i suffer with MS and in times of exteme pain i find it helps, the only side effect i experience is not being able to sleep, should i ask for a lower dose? and my GP has prescribed it for 2weeks and jthen stop!! but when i queried it with him stopping suddenly i was assured it wasn't a problem? i am confused, help. ## Hello, Chris! How are you? It can be stopped suddenly, as long as you've not been on it for 3 weeks or more. I have been on Contrace for 6 weeks now, and am very pleased with the results. I was prescribed contrave due to severe endometriosis and other hormonal issues I was having. I didnt start taking it until 5 weeks ago, about 3 months after my hysterectomy. I am 28, and am going through serious hormonal stuff along with menopause, and I would diet and exercise yet nothing was happening with my weight. What does it mean to take three tablets daily? Do I take three at once or at three separate times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)? ## If all it says is to take "3 tablets daily" you should take them all at once, unless otherwise noted. Especially prednisone. I have taken hydrmorphone (4mg) 3 times a day for 3 yrs now. How long does does hydromorphone remain in your blood? ## Hi Warhorse1, When it comes to determining how long Hydromorphone remains in your blood, my research suggests that blood work done by a lab can only detect it for up to an "estimated" 24 hours or so (meaning there's probably negligible amounts or none at all by that point). Given Hydromorphone's relatively short half-life of about 2.5 hours, I wouldn't necessarily doubt those claims either. However, I'm sure these numbers could easily become cumulative over the course of 3 years and also based upon its frequency of use. Have been taking 250 mg capsules 4 and now three times per day for 20 years for seizures that started at 35 yrs. due to pregnancy.Baby was fine but seizures continued though now, with pills not for many years.
