I recently filled my prescription. It all looks the same including the pills, however the pills themselves have a fairly strong odor, taste EXTREMELY bitter and leave a bitter taste in your mouth for a long time after swallowing. Pills are light blue, well pressed and have a score down the middle of C/DC. They have no colour difference on the inside and outside and they all appear identical. When dropped in water they stayed buoyant until submerged. They do not dissolve if left but begin to crack very slowly. Shaking them in water does not cause them to dissolve but they do fall apart. Please help. I received 100 mg tramadol tablets yesterday that look different than they usually do. From HAB Pharmaceuticals India. They are usually small white round tablets with one line scored across one side of the pill. This time they were slightly larger tablets, round, white with two lines scored on one side in the shape of an "X" They have never looked like this, but the packaging says the same info as I usually get. Recently I got my blood test report, in which Eosinophils (WB/Automated Counter) was found/observed as 13 as against the required range of 1 - 6%. I am taking one Osertile 100 plus tablet and one Frenxit for each day for reducing high blood pressure. I have been suffering deficiency of vitamin B12. IIt is 155.49 pg/ml. I have been taking 50 mg twice a day of metoprolol tartrate since May. Doc wants to double the dose all at once...200 mg a day because BP was elevated a little (from a panic attack, I believe). So the 50 mg scored pills were a pink pill. The 100 mg pills are blue scored pills. If I am too afraid to double the dose all at once, is cutting the scored 100 mg tablet the same as two 50 mg tablets? I do have panic/anxiety disorder and med phobia..thats why I am too afraid to double the dose all at once, especially because of the side effects I had when I started the 50 mg tablets...i.e., anxiety, nervouness, dizziness. Hi everyone, I'm a sufferer from hypothyroidism; I was just wondering about how to take Levothyroxine; because I began taking it as one tablet of 25mcg....working up to two...then three...and then finally four 25mcg tablets, at which point a blood test told me through my doctor, that my thyroid was now apparently working well. I figured it would be OK for me now to take just one tablet, of 100mcg, rather than four ( was given a choice of both types). So once my 25mcg tablets started running to run out, that's what I did. However, whether I imagined it or not, I found myself happier on the four X 25mcg than the one X 100mcg. Is this normal? Should I worry?
