I have always gotten pink 10mg k56 pills. I went to Walmart and filled my pills and they gave me white pills imprinted with 10mg RP. Are they the same? ## Yes, they have just been manufactured by different companies, the tablet with K56 on it is manufactured by KVK Tech, and the ones with the RP are manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. When a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies, and the one your pharmacy carries can vary, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The K56 and...

Hi can anyone please tell if pepson diazepam tablets i.p are a good brand? They are small blue in colour and under the coating they are white. Anyone please help determine if these are a good brand? Thanks in advance too. ## Did you try them? I am just got them in my latest prescription refill and was wanting to know before I tried them. ## We are just getting them filled in Scotland and they seem ok. I took a dose and had a good effect. People seem to like them price vs quality. They are going for the same price as yellow tablets but you get more. ## Hi I just received pepson diazepam today so checking it out on here that they ok ? & looking at comments I think they safe & a good brand?? ## Sorry to say I have received these and done my research too and they are Not Diazepam. I had Traumatic Brain Injury 6yrs ago. Work related and I would much rather work my butt off than be disabled! My energy level is so low since TBI. I take 4 tablets daily of generic Adderal. Lately it's been hard to get the whole rx filled. I was able to get 5 days of real Adderal! Is it my imagination or did it really give me energy to get up and ready to go much faster than the generic Adderal? Within 30mins verses anywhere from 1hour to 4hours? I would really appreciate your comments on this. Thank you for your time. ## No, it is not necessarily your imagination. There can be differences between generic and name brand medications. There are allowed to differ in the amount of the active ingredient by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic wi...

I've been taking Gabapentin 600mg tablets since 2009. My tabs have on them two different types of #s. P636 - This tablet is blue. The other is white with G31 600mg. Why the difference? Also would like to know how long will they last before they expire? Thank you. ## correct only the activas by teva green tablet r636 are the only decent ones made in america that work well other than greenstone made in the states as well work. all others are garbage imo. only take fill with activas greens which are the only green tablets or greenstone white tablets. all others are made out the states and cause severe headaches and stomach issues and do not work nearly like the activas teva r636. took me forever to find them cause they are so low on stock on this generic. after a day worth of calls and...

What is the difference between single component orange and white subutex? ## I'm pretty sure the orange is the film, and the subutex is pill form. Same thing. There is also Zubsolve another pill form, minty taste. Does the same thing. Opioid treatment ## Are the ones you're asking about both tablets? Are there any markings on them? From the limited information in your post, I assume they have just been manufactured by different companies, but that may not be true, depending on your answers to the other questions I asked. The FDA warns that Subutex carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## You are entirely wrong! Why do people give advice about things that they know nothing about? Ther...

Is there a difference in the potency of the generic oval orange 30mg and the generic round pink 30 mg? ## Hi Wendy, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients (which may or may not be present in each brand) are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. So it's possible that you may respond favorably with one medication and not the other (even if they are the same drug and same dosage). Pink 30mg generic Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine tablets (imprinted Cor 136) with a National Drug Code of 64720-0136 contain the following inactive ingredients: - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline -...

is there a difference between levothyroxine tablets & thyroxine tablets? ## Hi Rose, From what I could gather, Levothyroxine (also known as L-thyroxine or T4), is a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone "thyroxine", which is normally secreted by the follicular cells of the thyroid gland. So to answer your question, they are the same exact medication. However if they were manufactured by different companies, it's likely that each tablet contains a different set of inactive ingredients (otherwise known as binders/fillers). To my understanding, the different variations of these inactive ingredients, have a significant impact on the overall efficacy of certain medications. Do you happen to have any experience or feedback on either of these brands? You can learn more about th...

Walgreens filled my script with this amneal brand ip118, but I normally take watson 387 vicodin es for pain from lupus. Is it the same? I'm scared to try it but my pharmacy said it's the same? Is it? ## No not addicted got terminal illness. Wanted to know if it is the same cuz I dont like to take something I dont know.Got Sle Lupus pain every day ## Hello, Nat! How are you? Yes, both of the tablets you've mentioned contain 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen, they are generics for Vicodin, Lortab, Norco and others. Learn more Lortab details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How many milligrams of Xanax are three Clorazepate 7.5 mg equal to? I'm asking for a friend. She was prescribed 3 Clorazepate 7.5 mg tablets a day to help wean off three 2mg doses of Xanax a day. ## Even though both Xanax and Clorazepate are classified as benzodiazepines, my take on this is that no two drugs are created equally; whereas not only the half-life varies, but also the duration of effect, the potency and the binders/fillers that affect bioavailability. Therefore the only way to determine if you're benefiting from or the other on a similar level would be through trial and error. I don't encourage anyone to just start experimenting on their own, but perhaps your friend's doctor can make some suggestions that may alleviate potential withdrawal symptoms without ha...

I am dreaming out. I have been on buprenorphine/naloxone for a few years. A brief interlude with the "Roxanne" brand (doctor said it was b/c of the surgery I had last year). Found myself in the east coast due to a family emergency and my script ran out. The doctor here prescribed buprenorphine and was fully aware I needed suboxone. Went to fill it at CVS and instead of the orange tablets which I quite like and works very well I was given as mentioned and the pill is white with an M and underneath that it has (I think) 924. Is this suboxone? Unlike everyone on here I liked the Orange tablets which they still give in California. The films did not work as well for me. I hope I am freaking out for nothing. The 2 seemed to be spelled the same exact for the buprenorphine has an e on t...

What's the difference between Roxane 54/142 and 54/549 dolophine 10mg pills? Is the dolophine stronger and where can I fill my RX for the later? My pharmacy has been filling hydrochloride instead of dolophine I'm prescribed. These are both methadone. ## Hello, Debby! How are you? Yes, both of the tablets you've mentioned contain 10mgs of Methadone. It seems you're misunderstanding what some of this stuff means, so I'll try to clear it up for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hydrochloride only designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from, so these are both actually Methadone Hydrochloride, thus neithe...

I've been going to a clinic for almost a year now and each time I get prescribed 8mg Subutex. When I would fill my prescription I would receive 54 411 white tablets. Today when I picked it up I got M 924 white tablets. The only difference I've found is the manufacturer. The manufacturer for the 54 411 is ROXANE and for the M 924 is MYLAN. Are they pretty much the same pill just different imprint/manufacturer? ## I'm trying to figure out the same issue!! ## Yes, these tablets are just manufactured by different companies, which so very common with generics. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. It has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and c...

My grandson has been taking divalproex 500 MG ER for bipolar disorder. We moved recently so I had to change drugstores. When his Rx (for Depakote 500 mg ER) was filled yesterday they gave us divalproex SOD ER 500 MG. The tablets are different. The original tablet was white oval shaped with A511 on it. The new tablets are grey with W725 imprinted on them. Are these the same thing or should I contact the doctor before he takes the pills from the new pharmacy? ## HI, Beverly! My pharmacy has been switching prescription generics between 15 mg oxycodone HCL tablets for more than a year now. It is not unusual for me to get a new generic every time I fill my prescription and in many instances they will give me two different forms of the generic for one prescription because they switch so often. They have now put me on AUROBINDO which does not work at all for my chronic pain and if that wasn't bad enough they also provide counterfeit information in the form of paperwork claiming that the drug I have been given is actually manufactured by Mallinkrodt. I have pictures of the label as well as documentation from the FDA that claims my prescription is from a manufacturer that it is not from. The other concern I have is that I spoke with my pharmacist about this an...

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). What is in the Mylan 30 mgs ER that makes the pill so large when Endo 30 mgs ER is so tiny ## It just depends on the fillers/inactive ingredients that the company has chosen to use in them. There is a standard list of substances that the FDA considers inactive and safe, that they can chose from using, when manufacturing their tablets, some cause the pill to be larger. Is there anything else I can help with?

Adderall 20mg ir teva brand/VS/Lannett pharmaceuticals. Today, Walgreens filled my refill with a different brand instead of my usual teva they gave me a brand i never heard of before Lannett pharmaceuticals it says. They are the same shape and size but the color is a lighter shade of peach AND the sweet taste is chalky instead!...not happy. The imprint is 2/0(e). Since it's later in the day I only took one 20mg ir.two hours ago and zip..so far..granted i woke up a little bit so that's a plus..does anyone else have an opinion on this newer generic version of adderall? My doctor writes my prescription for Hydrodcod/Acetam 5-325 and the maker is Watson. When the drug store filled it last week it has M365 on the pill. I have taken three on three different days and noticed there was no relief. I took one pill 3 hrs ago and there has been no relief. That is the reason I took a pill out of the bottle and found the M365 stamped on the pill. If they are suppose to be the same - why is the pain still there? ## The M365 pills are indeed hydrocodone (5mg) + acetaminophen (325mg); however it may be that certain binders/fillers in these tablets affect bioavailability or how well they get absorbed into your system vs the other brand you're used to taking. If I were in this position, I'd probably see if the prescribing doctor could specify a particular manu...
