I am using it since last 3 months. 2 tablets daily. ## Hetrazan contains the active ingredient Diethylcarbamazine, it is used to treat infections of different types of worms. As to the side effects, they usually only last for the first 4 to 6 weeks of using the medication, so you really shouldn't be experiencing many, after 3 months. However, they can include: nausea, facial itching and swelling of the eyes. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I am treating a Bancrofti infection in the US. I am using DEC. I take it for rosacea... ## Hi lynn, According to The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists: As of December 10, 2012, there has been a shortage in Doxycycline Capsules and Tablets, mainly due to supply and demand (with a lack of raw materials). You can read more on the shortage here: ashp.org/DrugShortages/Current/Bulletin.aspx?id=977 Unfortunately, it seems as though no one really knows when they will be restocking the supply. Good day Mrs/Ms, I recently started using oralcon after much hesitation for years. Reason why i finally gave in was the fact that i am seeing a lot of my peers falling pregnant unintentionally and it really got me worried. Another reason why i decided to take it was because i wanna be able to counter any mistake (condom burst). My question is then is it 100% safe? Can i fully rely on it if i follow all the requirements set forth? ## Yes, it is reliable, according to the U.S. FDA, if taken properly and you don't miss any tablets. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm looking for general drug information on this anticonvulsant medication if anyone can help? ## Garoin is commonly used to prevent seizures for Epileptics, as it contains Phenytoin and Phenobarbital. The medication itself is said to control seizures by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. You can read about its potential side effects and more by visiting the links below: [1] Phenobarbital (MedlinePlus) [2] Phenytoin (MedlinePlus) ## For what treatment is this tablet prescribed and what are its side effects? ## Is it safe to use gadinal (60mg a day) along with garoin (2 tablets per day)?

I've have been taking sertraline (zoloft) for years under prescription by a doctor. Now I moved to another country and decided to order it online at combitic global caplet pvt ltd in india. They delivered the pills quickly in an envelope without packaging or users information. I'm not quite sure though, this is the real thing. I've been taking the pills for 3 weeks now and I'm not really sure they work. I sometimes have these contracting sensations at my temples that are typical for depression and that I usually don't have with sertraline. Anyone with some input? ## Are there any markings on the tablets? That is what would enable someone to research them for you to see what they contain. The FDA classifies Sertraline as an SSRI antidepressant and lists its typical si...

I decided to increase my vitamin C intake and opted for the unsweetened ones to avoid the artificial sweeteners. I started with the 1000mg/day and found it extremely sour but over time found myself gulping down more than 20 tablets (20,000mg or more) tablets a day. I have so much craving for the sour taste and have used it to fight down nausea which I have bouts of in a day. I am afraid of the quantities consumed as it seems to be an addiction. Presently, I feel very high-sensitivity in my teeth and even though my teeth were never "white", they are more yellow now. I am really concerned to know if there will be grave consequences or health implications or side effects. Thank you.

I currently take 70mgs of liquid Methadone once a day, but I used to take two 10mg tablets of Methadone twice a day. Since I have been taking the liquid I have went from 40mg a day to 100mg a day in just over three months, however I have decreased my dose to 70mg over the past few months because I was worried to be at such a high dose so fast. When I was taking the tablets I stayed at a total of 40mg in a day comfortably for six months, until I found a place in town that would keep me on methadone because I was traveling out of town just to pick up that prescription. The place I go to now prefers prescribing liquid and only one large dose every 24hrs, I don't think the liquid is as effective as the tablets and I also don't feel that one dose last 24hrs, that is the reason my dos...

I have been a pharmacist for 45 years and remember when this medication retailed for twenty dollars for 100 tablets, now one thousand dollars. Something is really wrong here. There's no reason for such an over price for this medicine. Seems like collusion between the FDA and big pharma to ripoff the patient. Don't trust either one. Just another example of greedy pharma. ## A new company has bought out the original mfg. This company thinks it can rip people off by charging ten dollars a pill. Don't let them do this to you. I have chronic back pain from two fusions. I fell from 5 step up on a rainy deck and I had to have C3-4 fusion and L5-S1 And have been on pain meds for 11 years. This is the only way I can get through the day. ## Hello, Rita! How are you? There are 70mg and 75mg extended release capsules available and the next up in tablet form from the current dosage you are taking would be 100mg extended release tablets. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Another alternative would be to add a regular release breakthrough medication, so you can also ask your doctor about doing that. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi, I have been using Topamax for depression for 12 months and must admit that it has been very sucessful. The one major draw back is that I have developed a very annoying eye twitch. It only affects one eye, but is very noticeable. I was taking 100 mg twice a day, but have decreased it to 100 mg daily. The twitch has decreased somewhat, and I realize that I now have to come off this drug completely to get rid of the twitch entirely. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I read 1 other reader, but are there more? ## Sorry it took so long to reply. I had the same problem with Topamax which I use for epilepsy. It is the coating of the 100 mg for me. The 50 mg does not cause this on me, so I take 2/50 mg tablets instead. Ever heard of Topamax causing gout? ## I've developed an eye ...
