My Mom is 70 years old and she is Diabetic and Hypertensive. She is on Diapride-2, Arbitel H and Atorvastatin av 75 mg along with PAN 40 mg. Even after taking PAN 40 before breakfast every day she doesn't feel relieved of gastritis. Is there any other alternative for PAN 40 in this case?

What time of the day should this tablet be taken? ## It should be consumed in morning before breakfast. in most cases 1, 40 mg tab in a day. ## I have too much gas in my GI tract, like farts mostly at night time and my stomach feels full even if I eat very little. My friend told me to take pan 40 on an empty stomach. What exactly is this for? ## Try this natural way: Drink good amount of water 1 hr before food. DO NOT DRINK any water for at least 1-2 hr after food. Only if required, take max a sip or so during food thats it. After 2 hrs drink as much water as you like. Unless your doctor has instructed otherwise, you can take it whatever time of day is most convenient for you, you just need to be consistent and take it each day around the same time and it should be taken on an empty stomach, just before a meal. I recieved a prescription for Pantoprazole Sodium DR 40mg. But my pill looks completely different from what I've had in the past and is different from the descriptions I can find on what it should look like. I have a white, oval tablet with "97" imprinted on one side. The imprints vary between red or black in the same bottle. What do I have in my hands?
