Recently my fasting sugar count goes very high (200-220) I suffer from RLS (Rest less legs Syndrome) Dr. has increased my insulin to 36 units in the morning 40 units at night and also added Glycomet -500 S.R. need your views if this is on right track. I am 53yrs old male.I was detected with DM2 3 yrs back.I am on medication since then. In April, doctor advised me to take Galvus met 50/850mg before breakfast and Metformin SR 850mg in d evening. I take 500mgs a day and suger level is always over 200 do I need atleast 850 twice a day to lower it more. ## I take glucophage HCL ER 1000 mg a day and my blood sugars are still between 137 and 200 can you help me. I am taking lupisulin m30 70 100 iu ml, this insulin 12 units in morning and 10 units in evening 30 minutes before lunch and dinner respectively. Along with this I am taking Jalra M 50mg/500mg twice a day before meals. Also I am taking Glimisave2, Optisulin, and Razel F5. Nusar50 for BP. My cycle started and it's been 6 days. Tomorrow I will start the sugar pills, can I skip that and start a new pack? Will that stop my cycle? I have started taking Brenda 35 ed - the pack comes with the white tablets which I never take (but in this pack they ask you to start taking the white tablets on the first day of your cycle when you start a new pack) however I didnt do it, I started taking my pill on my first day of the period with an active tablet - (Normally with other pills you are protected straight away) but with this one it says it takes two weeks, I am just very confused. So I took an active tablet on my first day of my period and been taking active tablets for the last week at the same time. I'm 16 and on Lo Loestrogen FE, I've been on it for probably 9-10 months. My period is always irregular, and last month I had it 10 days early for about 1-3 days and then nothing on the sugar pill days. Now, the following month, my period is currently 2 days late and I'm freaking out. My boyfriend always uses condoms and we check them before throwing out so I know they have never broken. I am having sugar for last 23 years and so far it was within nice control.but from last feb2014 my sugar fasting is 170 and pp is always more than 210..last two months doctor prescrobed me higher dose of medicine ie tripride 2 morning and night and combiglyzed 5/500.before lunch.but such increased medication has no effect. In this context i would like to say that have thyroid (tsh 6.5) which causes sewelling on my feet of and on as told by different doctor.My present doctor did not pay any heed to this point. I also believe that this thyroid stood on the way of secretion of insulin. Can any body prescribe medicine for me or give me sugession what to do?

I was taking reclimet tablets twice a day for the past 2 years and my sugar level is under control. I used to take pioz7.5 alongwith but have discontinued it from last month as my doctor said I do not need it now. now I am in usa for 3 months and will return on 26th may. My husband started taking Chantix 3 weeks ago and is doing well with not smoking, however, he is a type 2 diabetic but he has also controlled it with diet and Metformin twice daily. Now since he has been on Chantix, his blood sugar level has been over 600. We went to the doctor yesterday and he told him that it was the Chantix and stop taking it. for how long does Jalra 50 bring down the sugar level? can it be taken without doctors prescription? ## Jalra contains the active ingredient Vidagliptin and for better blood sugar control, it's usually taken twice a day, at breakfast and at dinner time.
