6 Topics FoundI have a terrible problem of retaining fluid during the day where to the point I can gain 5 kg as I only urinate once or twice after consuming at least 2 1/2 litre of water per day. My doctor prescribed me spiractin and frusemide at different times, he didnt tell me to take them concurrently, so I was wondering if it I could take these both during the day for the duiretic needs to stop from gaining so much fluid weight during the day without causing any side effects. My potassium levels are fine but my kidneys have slowed a bit owing to age. Dear Sir I have been taking the above medication: Concor and Lamictin over a long period and Spiractin for about one year. I have a constant cough, non-productive at most times, joint pains, sleepiness, vision distortion sometimes, loss of balance and excessive weight gain. I have minor problems with itchiness of my skin and eyes. No treatment has been successful for the constant cough which is interfering with my lifestyle. I would sincerely appreciate your help as I have visited my Doctor several times and now will need a bronchoscopy which I want to avoid if possible. My husband had a Mitral valve replacement and bypass pluss he has heartfailure. He is taking Lasix 40mg,Plenish k,Carloc 12,5mg,Prexum 4mg,Warfarin 5mg,Spiractin 25mg,Lexamil 10mg. As he is impotent the doctor gave him Viagra. He used it once but start feeling funny, his face was red, he got very warm and felt sick but other wise nothing happend.
