I am 69 yr. old male living in NY State. I was put on Amiodarone in Dec. 2021, 200mg/day. I summarily stopped the med. in Nov. 2022 when the morbid depression turned to distinctly suicidal thoughts. As always, when I experience new adverse effects I re-read, carefully, the side effects of the most recent med. added to my regimen. In this case it was Amiodarone and I immediately knew what was happening. In the final section generally labeled as, "call your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects", I was experiencing several of the worst case scenario side effects. I told my cardiologist I had stopped the med. and he made NO auditory response, not a single word. I expected some direction, continue the drug, taper off, replace with..., you must contin...

3 sources say prednisone and 1 says percocet. It has 54 on top and 343 below it. Which medication is it? I want to know exactly what it's for? ## The manufacturer, Roxane Laboratories, list it as containing 50mgs of Prednisone. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, fluid retention, nervousness, insomnia, and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

Are there any US sources of Cyclazodone now that NewMind no longer has it? ## No, it has still not been evaluated for safety, and efficacy by the FDA. Ref: Cyclazodone Information Since it was discovered in the 1960's, it is very doubtful that the FDA will evaluate it in the future, due to the fact that other medications with proven safety and efficacy profiles are already approved. What specific condition do you need treated, and what medications have you already tried?

Yes. You can. I have read multiple sources saying you can, the first time I heard of it (and it is acclaimed to be one of best roa's after putting up the booty), I tried it. I did feel a noticeable difference as I usually break my 2 30 ir down to 4 15 ir to take throughout day for duration. The one 15 I subligualed felt very much like an oral 30, was a bit more clear also. It didn't last any longer though unfortunately, because that is what I am searching for, a way to make the IR last longer. I'm sure doc will make decisions next time I see him, but I just got this script a week ago. Can't start complaining already. ## Are you trying to say that you can safely take Adderall sublingually? While that may or may not be true, my understanding is that it's not necessaril...

I have multiple sources of pain resulting in three surgeries in two years(detailed shoulder & foot/ankle and sinus) and have been on numerous pain medications throughout the healing and PT aspects of healing. I also have had four epidurals and six other neck/back injections during this time. When my pain was so severe my BP shot to 190/120 and I felt miserable, I was put on Hysingla 30, then later 40mg. Without this medicine, I don't think I could have made through that period. I have read numerous forums on Hysingla and always come away a bit confused how it affects others. First off, there is no real "kicking in" period that I experience to a large degree. A couple hours after taking it(I always take it in the evening) I yawn a bit and my eyes might water a bit. This i...

Anyone know what this pill is along with some sources to back it? ## Hi Jeff, From what I could gather, this is reportedly a 100 mg Atenolol Tablet, marketed under the brand name Tenormin. However, I'm finding that sources to back this up are scarce to come by, and I'm not sure why that might be unless it's a foreign or counterfeit medication. A comment in another thread had also mentioned what the diameter/size of the pill is supposed to be: Discuss/cyclobenzaprine-191970.htm Maybe that clue can at least be verified if you have a way to measure it. I hope this helps!

While borage, evening primrose and black currant are well known GLA sources, GLA safflower oil delivers the most potent concentration of GLA available. With 400 mg per gram, it is twice as concentrated as borage and four times as concentrated as evening primrose. ## Hi Ardbeg, Thank you for providing that information. For those who don't know, GLA stands for Gamma-linolenic acid which is an omega-6 fatty acid that can help reduce inflammation and cell growth. The body uses GLA to produce prostaglandins (hormone-like substances that aid the regulation of the immune system). GLA can be used to treat or prevent a variety of conditions, including: rheumatoid arthritis allergies depression chronic fatigue syndrome psoriasis eczema (and other skin related issues) metabolic syndrome high c...

My prescription is for Hydroxyzpam (gen. for Vistaril) but most websites and other sources say that it is Hdroxyzine as the active ingrediant. Are they both the same thing? ## Hi Randolf, Apparently they are the same... Please see the following discussion thread for more information: /Forums/view_drug_submission.asp?Drug=hydroxypam&Page=107167 The drug Vistaril contains the active ingredient Hydroxyzine, and it appears that Hydroxypam may be a different brand name? ## Thanks for answering Roy. I had a few bad days, due to not having anymore meds and a dead laptop, so I couldn't be on for awhile. Roy is correct. They are the same thing, same active ingredient. You just have the generic version, which some companies do choose to name, rather than just call it by the generic drug n...

What is a tiny white pill with F on one side and 16 on the other? I have checked a few other sources with no luck. ## Is the marking possibly F 91? yes cipla zepose is diazepam though you haven't stated if you received them through your detox clinic or from "other sources" (no names of other source needed) Zepose are common;y faked as are all medications so if they are not working its possible you have not taken enough to stop the tremors etc or you have bunk tablets? As an alcohol withdrawal medication it is more common to use Librium (chlordiazapoxide) as it helps with more of the alcohol withdrawal symptoms, tho if your doing a home detox without help of a clinic then your not going to be getting them. Stay strong and ride out the rough parts!! its worth it in the end and maybe think about going to a meeting for some support and frienship with people who know where you've been and what you've gone through! Terpin Hydrate Drug Index

Terpin, used as the hydrate (terpin·H2O), is an expectorant, used to loosen mucus in patients with bronchitis and related conditions. It is derived from sources such as turpentine, oregano, thyme, and eucalyptus. It was used in the United States in the late nineteenth century, but was removed from marketed medications in the 1990s after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found a lack of evidence of safety and effectiveness.[1] Elixirs of terpin hydrate are still avail...

is keraglo forte tablets is vegetarian? which co. makes vegetarian tablets for b12 and d3 ? ## These are vitamin supplements, that are derived from our food sources, not directly from animals, at all. As to whatever inactive ingredients, you would have to check that with each individual company. Are you just worried about meat products? Or do you also stay away from dairy and such?

How are you? In your other post that I answered, you didn't mention being on medications. The problem you're having could be due to the Zoloft, it has been known to cause these types of issues as side effects. The FDA lists the other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and weight gain. You may do better if you speak to your doctor about trying a different medication. Are there food restrictions such as grapefruit when taking lisinopril? ## can eating grapefruit or juice react with this drug? ## I have checked several sources and there is nothing listed about there being a problem combining the two. ## I'm confused, I've read several different things about drug interactions with lisinopril. My concern is dieutics, and possassium. Can you still take them when taking Lisinopril? ## I worked in health care for years & was never told of an interaction. What does the actual tablet and packaging look like? Worried about counterfeit from India. ## I found some mixed information on the manufacturer of this tablet. Many sources state that it is manufactured by "Lupin", but other sources stated that it was manufactured by "Sun Pharma". Upon visiting Lupin's webpage, I wasn't able to locate this drug in their product list. But I did find that if you run a search on google images for "lupin rifagut" you will find a photo of the packaging and blister packs for these tablets. On the other hand, if you take a look at Sun Pharma's product list (who is based in India), you will find Rifagut on the list: That said, I'm really not sure which source is more reliable. That tends to be one of the biggest drawback...

Why is B17 the only vitamin illegal in the United states? ## There are many whole foods that 'naturally' contain Vitamin B17. The link below shows a list of these common food sources: As to why this Vitamin is considered to be illegal in the US, I have no concrete explanation, but can only guess that it has to do with money; the same reasons why medical marijuana is illegal at the federal level; Studies show it's benefits far outweigh its cons when compared to other medications or drugs. But the government doesn't know how to make money off of something that grows naturally around the world. Not to get off topic, but this appears to be the same reason Vitamin B17 is considered illegal even though it's found in abundance in many foods. It has potent anticancer propert...
