Your diet plays a huge role in your blood sugar levels, so if you're eating a lot of sweets and fatty foods, then that could be the reason that it's so high. Exercise is also very important for helping to control your blood sugar levels. How often do you exercise? What medication has your doctor advised you to take? They really are the best qualified person to let you know if you need to try something else or adjust your dosage.

Acyclovir 200 mg. 2x a day. Can the side effect,"change in the amount of urine" in older people, apply to INCREASE in the amount of urine?(male, age 90) undergoing chemo. ## Hello, Ann! How are you? No, that's not a common side effect of Acyclovir, the FDA lists the most common ones as including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and headache. However, most times, when someone is prescribed this medication, they are told to drink a lot of water, or are given a lot of water by their care givers, which could explain the change in urine volume. In rare cases, this medication has caused kidney crystals, which could lead to kidney failure, so most people are told to take it with lot of water, to help prevent this from occurring. Is there anything else I can help with?

I started taking Myrbetriq 4 months ago. About 2 months ago I became very dizzy and was diagnosed with Vertigo. I am now in therapy for it, but nothing is really helping it. I am concerned it is a side effect. Otherwise this med is fabulous. Has anyone else suffered from this or did this just happen to me? ## Yes, that can be a side effect of this medication, though for it to be that severe and cause vertigo isn't very common. But most medications that are used to treat overactive bladder can cause dizziness and vertigo. It would also explain why therapy isn't helping the situation. I had that happen with a medication myself last year and it was quite miserable for awhile, until I finally connected it to the medication I had been taking and stopped. Started this drug 2 weeks ago and I feel like I am falling apart. Was taking it with an iron supplement as prescribed by my doctor. I was recently diagnosed with severe high blood pressure. I went to a new doctor since I'm new to the area. He put me on Caduet 5mg/10mg once daily and clonidine 0.1mg twice daily. The Caduet was just for seven days, as it supposedly brings the BP down right away, as the clonidine takes longer. After the week, the dr. had me quit the Caduet and increase the clonidine to two 0.1mg tablets twice daily. I was scared to double the dosage, as the one tablet twice daily dose was making me extremely tired, and made me short of breath - hard to explain how that felt/feels. I wasn't sure how much was the Caduet or the clonidine, though. The first day I took the two clonidine tablets in the morning, I was okay for about an hour and a half, then got so dizzy I thought I was going to faint ...

I've been a diabetic for the past 10 years. However, for the last six months I have been taking Gluconorm-PG2 twice a day. What are the side effects of this medication? Recently another doctor said that it would be better to switch to Gluconorm PG2. Has anyone else made the switch from Iscept forte to Gluconorm PG2? ## It's actually a very similar medication, but this one contains Glimepiride with the Metformin and both have been proven effective at helping to control blood sugar.
