My father has been diagnosed with lung cancer that metastasized to the brain. First symptoms were loss of control over righ hand and claw like posture of fingers. HE was prescribed dexamethasone to reduce swelling in the brain resulting from metastasis. Stereotactic radio surgery (radiation focused on the metastasis only) was performed to treat brain metastasis. As a result he had to continue with dexamethasone as this treament causes also swelling of the brain. He had experienced following side-effects: insomnia, agressiveness (pushing family members physically,), inability to focus and listen, inability to speak clearly, talking non-stop, psychosis, paranoia, hyperactivity physically moving non-stop, , stomach pain, it is impossible to reason with him, wants to embark in projects that...

I am taking this for ITP to try to raise up my platelets. an average persons platelets are about 1500 mine are about 50. I started taking 5 4mg pills a day for two weeks. got to the 3rdday of the second week and my body felt like I was going to explode, I gained 10 pounds. Severe gas pains, Severe pain in all of my joints, Can't think straight, Bad bruising all over my body. Stay up for days at a time. Hello, last week 12-07-16 I got a dexa shot of 2mg for URI and it helped but started to get many adverse side effects like weakness, stomach bloating, hot flashes, body ache, headache dizziness. Can I take cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer) and dexamethasone (steroid) together? I'm prescribed a round of steroids for migraines and a muscle relaxer to help with muscle / back problems. ## I didn't find any interactions listed, but it is always best to double check. If i take what will be the side effects of zolidme and my stomach ## From what I could gather, Zolidime contains the following active ingredients: Aspirin Dexamethasone Phenylbutazone Right off the bat, it is stated in a number of webpages that Aspirin in and of itself can cause stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting as common side effects of the drug. Dexamethasone is not quite so helpful in that regard either, as it can present a host of undesirable gastro-related side effects that essentially can irritate more than just one's stomach.
