I just moved to scranton pa and have been on methadone for 11 years and can't find a Dr to go to can anyone help?????? Thanku ## Where you on it for addiction/maintenance treatment or pain? If you were taking it for addiction/maintenance treatment, then a clinic is your only option, regular doctors are not allowed to prescribe it for that. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have been on some sort of opiate for more than twenty years. Methadone mcompression frqaaintenance the whole nine yards. For the past five years I had ben doing well on suboxone however about a month ago I sustained two compression fractures and a cyst on my spine. I have a high tollerance and I need to find a doctor in N.E. Pa that will prescribe me a strong opiate like fyntanal or methadone for pain. Can anyone help me. ## Have you been taking Methadone and Suboxone for the treatment of drug addiction ? If you have, it is doubtful that you will be able to find a dr that will prescribe you pain meds.

I have been looking and calling psychiatrists near my area but the ones that are close never call me back for an appointment or are already full with patients. I am having a really hard time at home and work & need to see a Dr. ASAP, but keep reaching dead ends. Can anyone help me with a doctor and maybe your experience with them? I am a 43 year old female who has fibromyalgia, an autoimmune disease, and from that I have chronic fatigue syndrome, I was giving 30 mg Adderall 4 tabs a day. I no longer see the doctor that was prescribing for me. Now I cannot find anyone to give me this medication. It is the only way I can function, whatsoever. I am now to the point that I am probably going to get a hold of Center for Independent Living and go after these doctors for discrimination because I am beyond had it. Hi, my name is Stephen and I have been on 3 different meds for 12 years. I take 30mgs of Adderall 3 times daily and one 2mg dose of Xanax 3 times daily, but just moved to PA in the Scranton Wilkes-Barre area and cannot find a doctor to prescribe me the Xanax 2mg dose three times a day. They have cut me down to 1mg 2 times a day and I don't know how to relax, I'm shaking, feeling very anxious with anxiety and also have pain due to bad nerve damage in my shoulders. Does anyone know of a doctor that actually does care or maybe a psychiatrist in the area? ## It could be the Adderral speeding you out. You can't count on taking the same amount of medicine forever, Xanax is getting harder to obtain. Plus you are taking too much !

Hi, my name is Joan and I have chronic pain. I also have fibromyalgia Hermiated discs in the lumbar and sacral regions as well as the thoracic region. I get injections into my knee because it’s bone on bone. My primary dr stopped my Percocet 10/325mgr, abruptly , after knowing been on for more than 5 yrs. i’ve only seen this primary doctor for two months. Additionally, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require a medication such a this on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. Hello, I just moved to North Dakota two weeks ago and I have a prescription for Xanax. I filled my prescription on the 27th of July 2015 and am due for a refill on the 26th this month (August 2015). I live in a small town, Scranton, ND and the closest pharmacy to me is in Bowman, ND, about 13 miles away, and from what I have been told, the prices at the pharmacy there are extremely overpriced. Currently I am unemployed and cannot afford the prices I have heard that they have, so I'm going to have to travel to Dickinson, ND, around an hour away from where I live, at their local Wal Mart to get a refill. Have been seeing the same pain management Doctor for the last 20 years, but I am now moving to Pennsylvania. I have been spending time between the move trying to find a Doctor in Pennsylvania that will keep me on the same regimen I have been on for this long. It is futile! Does anyone have any idea if there is a doctor near Hazleton, Wilkes Barre, Scranton...that isn't absolutely afraid to treat a pain patient with methadone or other opiods? ## About 2 years ago I had a back fusion done with two boats in it and in about a month ago I got in a wreck. Someone had the red light and turned. Now one of the screws is fractured and I need my medication ASAP. I was taking roxy 30s and Xanax. I cannot find a pain clinic anywhere.

I had the same doctoe for more than five years. He prescribed me Addeall, Xanex and Suboxone.I am hard pressed to find another doctor to prescribe me than same medications to say nothing of the dose. He however retiered and I am hard pressed to find a doctor to prescreibe me the same medications to say nothing of the doseage. I live in Scranton,Pa. No suboxone doctor I know of will allow you to take benzos on suboxone. It is a very serious drug interaction.
