Hello, I got diagonsed with RA a year back. Now taking Sazo 500 mg tablets as a medication. I am also breastfeeding my 7 months old baby. Please let me know if I really should continue this medication without worrying? ## Sazo 500 contains Sulfasalazine, it is used as an anti-inflammatory. As per doctor's recommendation my mother (age 63) is taking 6 tablets of Sazo 500 every day. She is suffering from acute bout of nausea which is one of the side effects of this medication. My wife has been suffering from arthritis (eg. ankle swelling and tenderness). Her weight is approx 70 kg. Would it be beneficial if she's prescribed Sazo 500 two times daily or are there any side effects she should be aware of? ## It may help, but she should only try it, if her doctor has instructed her to take it. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation. Is she on any other medications?

My Wife is taking HCQS since last 7 / 8 years under supervision of a medical practitioner along with regular blood test and eye check up. Now small white patches are appearing on her chest.. Is it related to use of the drug? I am a rheumatoid arthritis patient. My doctor has advised me to have 4 sazo 500 and 2 HCQS tabs during a day. I am taking these medicines since last 2 years. But i have doubts and worried about the side effects of these medicines. I am 30 years old and not married yet. I am suffering from gas and loose motions. Can sazo 500 be used for irritable bowel syndrome? ## It might help, but should only be taken if your doctor has instructed you to do so. I am 58 yrs of age and suffering from rhematoid arthritis for more than 5 yrs and Iam also suffering from osteoporosis Dr.prescribed me gemfos with other arthritis medicine. But I have joint pain though I take sazo-500 and ugesic tablets with zincovita vitamin tablets.Is it is side effects of gemfos or any thing else.
