I had the same issue. I called CVS today and was told if i bring the paper script in, they will order the Roxanne 54 411 vs. the Mylans. There is a difference and I don't care what anyone says. Usually those who don't take the RX have the most advise. I don't know what is going on with ROXANNE BUP., but I bet its about money. The pharmacies give addicts crap cuz who cares....Stand up and order the Roxanes and tell them the other ones don't work! ## It is known that the inactive ingredients do affect some people, and can cause side effect issues. Science Translational Medicine, publishers of Science magazine, published an article on this on March 13, 2019. This article mainly covers the experience of adverse reactions, which in turn, could make it seem a medication isn...

I have been getting the generic Subutex Roxane brand 54 411 Buprenorphine tablets for months now from Walmart pharmacy and the past two times I've gotten my prescription filled there, I was given a different generic made by Hi Tech with an 8 and an arrow. I asked them why the change because those little tablets just are not the same and they said the Roxane ones could not be ordered. I called around to other pharmacies I have gotten my prescription filled at before also and was also told that the Mylan M 924s can no longer be ordered either. What's going on with the Roxane and Mylan Buprenorphine tablets? Did they stop making them or is there some kind of shortage? I had the choice of getting the small Hi Tech tablets which seem alot less potent than the Roxane or the Actavis 15...

I've been going to a clinic for almost a year now and each time I get prescribed 8mg Subutex. When I would fill my prescription I would receive 54 411 white tablets. Today when I picked it up I got M 924 white tablets. The only difference I've found is the manufacturer. The manufacturer for the 54 411 is ROXANE and for the M 924 is MYLAN. Are they pretty much the same pill just different imprint/manufacturer? ## I'm trying to figure out the same issue!! ## Yes, these tablets are just manufactured by different companies, which so very common with generics. Can not find pharmacy again that has 8 mg buprenorphine by Roxanne Labs. Have a prescription but can not find a place to fill it in the Pittsburgh area. This is crazy, why does every place that carries them for a while stop. We are paying a small fortune for them. ## Hello, Jay! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. Since this is a generic, which one a pharmacy carries may vary at any time, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, via their distributor, whenever they needed to restock their supply. Is there a special reason it has to be the one from Roxane? The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness,...

Is there a difference between 54 411 tablets and the orange half moon subutex? My son seems to think the 54 411 makes him sick. I was prescribed and took Suboxone Films for 3 years, and tolerated them very well. Unfortunately, my insurance stopped paying for the films, and I had to start taking the generic Suboxone tablets (Buprenorphine/Naloxone 8/2mg sublingual tablets). I filled my first prescription at Rite Aid, where they gave me the hard, orange tablets made by "Amneal", with the imprint "AN 415". I went into withdrawal the second day after beginning those pills. That was the worst month of my life, as that medication did absolutely nothing beneficial. This month, I took my prescription to CVS, where I was given peach colored tablets with the imprint of "54 375", manufactured by "Roxane". While this brand is slightly better than the Amneal brand, I am still having adverse ef...

Is there a opiate blocker in white pill 54 411?? ## Hello, Chad! How are you? No, this tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine. However, it does tend to take a strong hold on the opiate receptors and can still block others from working. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Small white round pill with the numbers 54 755 on the same side. ## I was using perk 10s for over a year and having a hard time coming off this opiate being told if wanting to be free of this addiction and using subutex the right way will be very helpful in my recovery ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories, and they list it as containing 2mgs of Buprenorphine, which is most commonly used to help treat drug addiction, and to treat some forms of chronic pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The inactive ingredients may include: citric acid anhydrous, corn starch, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, povidone, sodium citrate, though they may vary depending...

I don't know if there was a bottom number but it's a white round pill with 54 on top ## I located a white round pill with "54" on top and "142" on the bottom, to be identified as Methadone hydrochloride 10 mg. Manufacturer: Roxane Laboratories, Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00054-4571 Another white round pill with "54" on top and "411" on the bottom is identified as Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg. Manufacturer: Roxane Laboratories, Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00054-0177 There happen to be at least a handful more of these types of pills (with "54" on top) from this particular manufacturer. So I'm thinking that Roxane Laboratories is the biggest candidate for being the manufacturer of your pill. If you don't find an exact match...

I just filled a 3 day supply of my Subutex & when I got home I realized it was a new pill I've never seen before. I did some research & they're from Sun Pharmaceutical Industries. They're white, round & say 460. I'm being told by a friend that the Roxane brand (54's) will no longer be available. Does anybody know anything about this? I'm not a fan of change! LoL. ## Yes, Sun Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine, which is a generic for Subutex. Unfortunately, I do not have any information on the ones manufactured by Roxane. Have you started taking it, yet? How many do I have to take?? And for how long?? I just need some help to get my life back.. Please someone help me. Ty ## This tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone. It is a generic for Suboxone, which is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. The Buprenorphine is a mild opiate that helps prevent the cravings and the Naloxone neutralizes other opiates to prevent them being abused, while someone is under treatment. round white pill 54 411 on one side and the other blank ## its an 8mg generic subutex, same as suboxone ## This is a Generic Subutex OPIOD pill used to treat opiod dependence as in heroin addicts, etc. Sort of like Methadone. These pills are very very new as generics and hard to find, they were released by roxane pharmacuticals on october 9th of 2009. They are made with Talc (non-biodegradeable) instead of the non generic originals which are made with the better ingredient corn starch! ## Thank you for providing that information, these do seem to be very new, as I can't find a listing for this marking anywhere. While Buprenorphine is most commonly used to treat addiction, it can also be used to treat some cases of severe pain, in which other medications have stopped helping or faile...

is it the same med's as my old one that saids( an 415) ## Hello, Tom! How are you? Yes, these are both 8/2mg Suboxone generics. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They are just manufactured by different companies. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi Tom, Based on my research, both pills you described are generic Suboxone, containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine HCL + 2mgs of Naloxone HCL. The one marked 54 375 is manufactured by Roxane Labs and the one marked AN 415 is a product of Amneal Pharma. That said, the only differences that might be found are probably within the list of "inactive" ingredients; since this usually varies for each man...

Does anyone no what pill is better or are they the same? Today my pharmacy gave me the orange 54-375 but i was taking a white pill with 155 on it the orange one is a little smaller. And just dont seem like it would work as good i think Roxanne is the maker can any one help me? I switched pharmacy to save money 20 bucks less for 60 not sure if this is good also these came 60 loose were the white ones are individually wraped thanks jim ## The size of the pill is not relevant, that really just depends on what inactive ingredients they decided to use in it. However, the dosages are the same, it is listed by Roxane as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine, and 2mgs of Naloxone (base). The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzine...

I was on the strips now have a new insurance and had to go to gen. I was first given the white tabs with the moons then last script the RX gave me the peach tabs with 54 375. I don't see any difference with either of them exept stronger taste with the tabs. ## Fixin my info ## It is very common for generic mediations to be manufactured by several different pharmaceuticals companies and whichever one your pharmacy has in stock may change in any given month, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. The tablet with the 54 375 marking is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone, so it is a generic for Suboxone. The FDA lists this medications a a narcotic analges...

Someone told me my wife's subutex were fake because they saw a half of a tablet and it only had the 54 half showing. I found it hard to believe because they came from the pharmacy and all the rest look fine. Actually other than it being cut in half it looks fine as well. It has the same color shape and imprint other than the 411 side being cut off. Any ideas on how to either prove or disprove these accusations because i just highly doubt the pharmacy is giving anyone fake and/or counterfeit medicine. ## If you received them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, then there is no reason to think they are fake. They are manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list them as being 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablets, a generic for Subutex. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate th...
