Hello forum members. I have a question about psychiatric medication which I was wrongly prescribed. Firstly, I suffer from Chronic Lyme Disease. For those who don't know it is a quite serious bacterial infection that causes profound physical fatigue, muscle pain, cognitive problems, and depression and derealization. However, as I have just learned recently, the physical and psychological aspects of the disease are completely due to the bacteria infection of the brain and body, and will disappear completely once treated with antibiotics, which I am now taking regularly. The most common side effects associated with this medication include nausea, dizziness, somnolence, fatigue and weight changes. 3mgs is a pretty high dose, so I'd expect the somnolence and fatigue to be pretty pronounced on that dosage. I am on Sizodon for over 2 years now. Was previously on haloperidol for 15 years. Prior to the treatment I wasn't a very active person mentally. I went into psychosis while I was a teen. I am 38 now. With the help of the medication I am able to function well. But would like to know if the long-term side effects will affect me later in life. I want to wean from the medicine but I am scared whether I will be able to function well. Please advise. ## Think of how you feel now and how your doing before you change anything. Can somebody tell me all the side affects of risperlet I use 0,25mg at nite and works so well for my bipolar condition. I used epilim before and had severe side affects which I don't have any on risperlet the correct dose if I use 0,5mg I get drowsy in the morning so ill stick with 0,25mg works perfect and I feel well everyday without loosing my mind when shopping at super markets I also don't have sweaty hands and feet anymore which used to go into panic attacks thank God I've finaly got the right medication and dose to.
