How many people have been on this medication? I'm afraid it's too new and they don't fully understand all the side effects. ## Hello, Shelley! How are you? This medication actually has one of the highest cure rates and its most common side effects include nausea, fatigue, headache and irritability. And yes, there is always a risk of that, but that is true of any medication on the market, not just this one. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I had hcv for 15 years and it only took half a pill for 8 weeks to clear virus. Solvaldi actually stopped my chronic vomiting and nausea the first night I took it. I was supposed to take ribovarin in morning and at night and six hundred milligram at night but could not tolerate all that. I reduced to 300mg of solvaldi only at nigh...

I have copd/chronic bronchitis. Allergic to most albuterol, advair, and rely on primatene mist, but want to try daliresp - i'm eager to see how others are doing. ## does the use of daliresp affect libido or erectile function in male patients ## I believe that like any other medication, there are some people it works well for and others for whom it doesn't. There is another discussion on our site from people that have been using it, which you may be interested in: Richard, those aren't listed as common side effects, but it is difficult to say how any medication may affect anyone that uses it. Have you consulted your doctor?

Has anyone tried this medication called Emgality? ## It’s really weird that since 2019 nobody has come to this website to post anything about Emgality? I have a hard time believing that considering all the bad reviews out there. Is the Emgality manufacturer paying to keep these terrible side effects off this site? This is really upsetting as I’ve used and trusted this website for five years at least, it’s bad enough they’re paying the neurologist to tell people there are zero side effects FYI, if a medical professional tells you there are zero side effects you need to run from whatever medication they are trying to give you because that’s the biggest lie ever. Sandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand. ## Activis (spell check?) is pretty good. I also went from Sandoz to Teva, not by choice, and hated it. Then I tried Activis, and I'm happy with it. ## That's strange if it is discontinued but CVS just gave me Sandoz Adderall today 9/5/2017 , I had requested corepharma because previously they gave me Mylan brand, which was Bad. I did well on corepharma but the only generic they could get was Sandoz. ## It is possible that just that p...

Wymox (amoxicillin) is semisynthetic penicillin, an analog of ampicillin, with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Chemically, it is d-(-)-a-amino-p-hydroxybenzyl penicillin trihydrate. Has anyone else here tried this antibiotic? ## Wymox is a moderate-spectrum antibiotic active against a wide range of Gram-positive, and a limited range of Gram-negative organisms. It is usually the drug of choice within the class because it is better absorbed, following oral administration, than other beta-lactam antibiotics. ## Amoxicillin has been proven to be a very effective antibiotic, regardless of the brand name it is sold under. I have MS for over twenty years. I must say I have been blessed I have been very active and mobile for most of those years, I took avonex for ten years. The first five or six were very good I stayed very active, just had few flu like symptoms at first. The next five or so years things changed gradually started going down. The medication wasn't doing me any good anymore. I went for a year or so doing nothing and I wasn't better but I wasn't that much worse. I was so excited to hear bout amprya. Just like everyone else my expectations were high. I have taken Ampyra for about 3 months. First month and a half notice some good change in my energy and coordination, although I had insomnia, when I did sleep had horrible, bizarre dreams. I was dealing with that, but now I am having ...

I noticed an immediate improvement in overall feelings of lethargy after starting on Axiron. My overall energy was restored and feelings of tiredness that I'd experienced for years were finally over. The only negative side effects are the increase of body hair. Noticeable increase in underarm hair growth, pubic hair growth and chest hair distribution. My stomach was smooth prior to Axiron, now it's hairy. Also, my whiskers/beard are more coarse since being on Axiron. ## Hello, Scott! How are you? I'm glad that it's working so well for you. Other side effects that you may experience, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include skin irritation, redness, rash, irritability and headache. Are there any questions or comments?

I have herniated discs and sciatica. I was referred to a pain management doctor, who prescribed Lyrica. After reading all of these posts, and finding out the side effects, I'm not sure I want to take this medicine. Has anyone had good results with Lyrica, without these side effects? ## I have been using it for about7-8 months for nerve pain caused by intercostal neuritis and it has worked great for me. Of course I still get pain, but it is greatly reduced in both severity and frequency. The side affects are lethargy at first and forgetfullness, but it goes away in a few weeks and to me was definately worth the wait. Weight gain- I am so overweight to begin with and on so many things that can cause weight gain, it is hard to tell, but on a WW, I lose easily if I take it seriously. An...

I would like to hear from people who have tried Tilade and can share their experience with it. ## I may not have any personal experience with Tilade (nedocromil), but I did want to share more information in the meantime if it helps anyone looking to start this medication: Nedocromil sodium is used to prevent wheezing, shortness of breath, and other breathing problems caused by asthma. It is administered by an inhaler under the brand name Tilade (although its effects in this form are said to be far less than those in albuterol or other well-known inhaler medications). I hope this helps!

I am starting Rowasa tonight and want feedback from others that have used it. How do you hold it for 8 hours? ## When using Rowasa, I try to alter my diet a bit to reduce stool bulk and gas (less fiber, etc.). I also try to relax and have a BM as late in the evening as possible and use the Rowasa immediately before going to bed. This works well for me.

I just started taking prozac and have been on it a week now, though I haven't seen or felt any difference yet. Does this medication make you gain weight? ## Hey, well actually prozac usually has no side effects and I've been on it for almost a month. When my doctor asked me what my eating habits are like I said "good" and I asked why, and he said just to make sure, but prozac usually wont make you hungry or not hungry so it might be something else. ## He is talking crap, I just started to take Prozac and it made me eat more too. I also had recovered and was off Diabetes meds and now I'm back on them cause of the Prozac too. So it made my reading high and the doctor told me it didn't. I have a bi-polar condition and was on seroquel for about 10 years with success. It started giving out this past summer & now my doctor put me on 80mg of geodon, 4 lithobid. Is anyone familiar with the epilepsy medication aptiom and what are the reviews? ## Hi Nicole, From the looks of it, you seem to be the first person to post about this specific medication here on MedsChat. But in terms of reviews, the FDA approved Aptiom back in 2013 based on three large clinical trials, including over 1,400 people who've been living with partial-onset seizures. According to these studies, Aptiom reportedly demonstrated a statistically significant reduction (of up to 50% or more) in standardized seizure frequency from where patients were prior to treatment. This is compared to a 22% reduction in patients who received a placebo. Based on this information alone, Aptiom sounds like a viable treatment option in my opinion. However, one must also consider pros and cons w...

I tapered up to 1800 mg on a sample pack and my Dr. didn't listen & called in Gabapentin. I tried that off & on for a few years post chemo. (Peripheral Neuropathy). I then went cold turkey to about 2-3 '300' mg pills for a couple of days, felt that swirly headed silly almost tipsy feeling & decided to just stop the drug. It has never helped my PN. And an online msg. board has many posts about Gralise being a big joke. Maybe it is??? I'm having some pain relief from Cymbalta, but probably only 75% back pain relief. I still have 25% back/shoulder pain. Such is life. Everyone lives with pain. But I do have chronic pain from PN. And emotional pain. PTSD from past cancer, etc. ## Hello, Marie! How are you doing?
