I need to know what this is prescribed for? ## I believe you are referring to Risperodol, the generic is Risperdal. This is a very potent antipsychotic, it is also used for people who suffer from mental illness and have trouble sleeping due to racing thoughts. ## I am sorry to disapprove with this as i take it and it is more for people with depression as it is an anti depressant. ## Respiratol is being ordered for my sister-in-law as a mood changer. She is in the beginning stages of Frontotemporal dementia.

These two drugs have been given to control agreesive behaviour in a dementure patient. they have changed to the later because the former might cause a TIA but I woud like to know the side affects of both as to which is the safer one. Can you advise please?

I have been on testopel for over 2 years. At first I loved it but now it doesn't seem to do what it did before. I'm 35 lbs heavier not active so much. I can't eat much. Can respiradone and novelon tablets can used together. I am not getting periods bec of 1mg respiradone tablet so doctor prescribed novelon tablets. while getting 6 years on hydroc/ 7 month arthi-d I am know experiencing allergic reactions to all forms of herbals, lotions. I ## Hi Cheri, The answer to your question is "yes", Ciprofloxacin can be used to treat a number of infections including: Upper and Lower respiratory tract infections (although it is not recommended as a first-line antibiotic choice for either of them). I would actually consider discussing with your doctor and/or pharmacy whether or not they think you should be using some other antibiotic (depending on how severe the infection is). The reason being, is that if you don't use the most effective antibiotic for your infection, then the bacteria can build a resistance to what you may be using; possibly rendering the treatment useless in the end.
