Red Pill Capsule No Imprint
100+ Topics FoundTrying to identify a red capsule with no imprint, having brownish powder inside. ## Hello, David! How are you?? With no imprint, we can rule it out as being a manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification and compounding pharmacies use plain capsules. That means that this is most likely an over the counter product of some type. Where was it found? Some over the counter products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. ## I got a similar capsule from Walmart in Reno, Nevada. ## I have red and white capsules with no imprint that are supposed to be Ibuprofen 800mg. Red and yellow capsule - NO imprint at all. Maybe an antibiotic or Cipro...... ## I don't think this pill was manufactured in the U.S., as it has no letter or number imprints. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there could be many, many pills on the market, both over the counter or prescription that could meet that physical description. Unless you obtained this pill on the street, the only other thing I can suggest is that you try asking your local doctor or pharmacist for more information.
I've heard red and white capsules no imprint are 30 mg roxicodones? ## Honestly, it would largely depend on the country of origin of the pill. Reason being is that U.S. law requires all prescription drugs to have some sort of marking or imprint on the tablet to identify the substance and dosage. Without that, it could literally be anything from a dietary supplement, OTC med, illicit drug, or even something foreign. Whereabouts did you find it? ## I bought what was supposed to be a dietary supplement called Garcia Cambogia, but when I got it in the mail, it had no seal, and the bottle was so full when I opened it, the pills were popping out. I looked up the description of what they were supposed to be & it's nothing like these. I opened 1 of the capsules & it has an off w...
Red/gray pill. Oblong like capsule but not an actual capsule. It's broke in half with just the red side and very little of the gray side. I found a number of red/grey capsules with an imprint including the letter O. One of the capsules I located is, Principen which contains (500 mg) of ampicillin. It is a red/grey capsule with the imprint BRISTOL 7993 (in black letters) on each side. I recently found a baggy of of large red & white capsules with no imprint hidden in my teens closet. There were an even 90 capsules in the bag. He is out of town with a friend this week and we would like to identify before confronting him. My search on pill identifyer sites reveals nothing as most pharma meds must have a identifyer number, etc. These are just large red & white capsules. I want to believe they are some form of supplement he may be using for weight or sports training but identifying supplements appears impossible. The fact that there are exactly 90 capsules also leads me toward a supplement. Is there any local way to have the contents checked in a lab? Local law? Pharmacist? ## If you find a lab nearby and pay them to test them, that would probably be your only so...

Small oblong caplet white with red/pink speckles no imprint no opportunity to cut in half looks old. Found in deceased mother's medcine cabinent ## Because there's no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you were to pay to have it lab tested, somewhere. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription (and black market) that could meet that physical description. ## Looked like a pill my dad used in the 70s for weight loss ## There is a smal...

However, they could be over the counter products or even foreign medications. Were they found in the U.S. or elsewhere?

The letter L on one side and the number 2 on the other. Can anyone please tell me what this is? I see a few people have asked the same question. ## Is it an actual capsule or would it be considered a caplet? I have a red unmarked capsule. Was told it's a 15mg hydrocodone. They said they had to be special made. Is this true? Is it a 15mg or could it be more? ## Hello, Rose! How are you? It is possible, but short of testing the contents of the capsule there is no way to be sure. A doctor can order a special formulation of any given prescription medication, which would then need to be made by a compounding pharmacy, but in general, they use plain white or clear, unmarked capsules. The FDA classifies Hydrocodone as a narcotic analgesic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there a compounding pharmacy in your area?
My friend has an alleged 30mg Adderall that has no imprint and is a sky blue and dark red gel capsule. Thoughts? ## By law, the FDA requires all manufactured medications to have an imprint on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, in the U.S., if there is no imprint, it is most likely that a blank tablet, or capsule is an over the counter product, since they are not required to have imprints. However, there is a small chance that it could have been something created by a compounding pharmacy, or it could be some type of foreign medication, in which case there is no way to be certain what it contains. The FDA warns that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, insomnia, mood swings, and anorexia. Is ...
I found these while cleaning out a wrecked car. Would like to know what they are. Red and white capsule with white powder inside ## It is most likely an over the counter product of some type, since manufactured prescription medications are required to have imprints to enable their identification and the capsules used by compounding pharmacies are usually plain, not colored.
