red gel oval pill otc says tec... generic brand stool softner? ## I can't find a listing for this, which makes sense, as an over the counter product, they are not required to log the markings, as is done with all prescription tablets. Do you have any other information on it? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere?

Not sure what these are, just looking for answers. It's a tiny red pill but a perfect circle and straight edges like the smarties candy but smaller. They are solid red but soft and the pills stick together. I was told they're for old people. ## In the U.S. prescription medications, such as Morphine, are all required to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, these are most likely something that is available over the count. The FDA warns that Morphine carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are they similar to a gel cap?

red, gel filled, eliptical shape ## small, red, gelatin type capsule, with no markings and clear fluid inside. possible OTC medication ## The original gelcap asked about contains 100mgs of Docusate, which is a stool softener and laxative that's available over the counter. You can learn more Docusate details here. Side effects may include nausea, gas, diarrhea and abdominal cramping. On the unmarked one, however, it's very difficult to be certain what it contains. It's most likely something available over the counter, but It's difficult to be sure what exactly it is. Does anyone else have any ideas?

found capsule, its oblong pink on one side and deep red (maroon0 on other ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then we can rule it out as being a manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. That means that this is most likely some type of over the counter product. Where did you find it? Some products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. ## It's a study capsule, perhaps estrogen ans progesterone

Wondering if somebody is making illegal drugs and trying to pass them off as legit xanax. ## Illegal pills can be made in any shape and any color. This is the first report of these I've seen and of course don't take them! ## @dave, I second what Eddy said, as I have not seen or heard of any xanax (neither real or fake) coming in the form of a red gel cap. If you don't mind my asking, where did you come across these and who was it that suggested they were xanax to begin with? Does the capsule have any markings that we can look up? My first thought that came to mind based on your description is that these certainly are not xanax and that you should probably dispose of them. However, out of curiosity, I think it would still be interesting to find out what exactly is in them thr...

possibly some type of herbal street drug ## Are there any markings on it? If not, it might be difficult to determine what this contains. There are some Cranberry supplements on the market that meet this description, but there are also quite a few others.

I was given some pills, being told they are THC pills, but I'm unsure. They are very big (long) dark brownish/red in color, and when I poked it this bright yellow stuff is inside.....the pill has no markings on it. I have been looking online but can't seem to identify it. It is not nabilone, or maridol, or any of those. Can someone help out? Another friend took one, said it was very mild, like having a small amount of cannabis......but still wondering what they are, thanks. ## Hello Sarah, Unfortunately without having an imprint or some sort of marking it would be near impossible to tell you the actual contents of the pill and I strongly recommend not taking any pills that you are unsure of their contents. Realistically there could be anything in an unmarked pill and a number of...

I found 2 red capsules with no markings. They're the soft gel type not the harder plastic type. I opened them up and there's a brownish powder with other little tiny colored powered bits in it too. I'd like to know what exactly these are. ## I'm asking dame thing.. just found 2 unmarked caps.. and light brown powder.. did u get answer?

red ## We need more details to identify it, shape of the pill, size, any other markings? ## No, the pill is a small round pill (about the size of a tylenol geltab) with the number 251 on the top. ## It took some hunting, but I did finally find an ID on this, it is an over the counter med, and since there are not strict guidelines for these, it is hard to find a comprehensive database that lists many of them. However, it is Pseudophedrine 25mgs, a generic or store brand of Sudafed, used for allergies or colds. ## Sorry, typo, should read 30mgs, not 25.

I have 4 oblong red gel pills that are in a bottle labelled maxifort. Is this what the pills look like? If not, any idea what they can be? ## From what I can find Maxifort contains the active ingredient Sildenafil, commonly sold in the U.S. under the brand name Viagra. It is used to help treat Erectile Dysfunction. What they look like can vary, depending on the manufacturer. Are there any markings on the pills? That would be the best way to try and identify what they are. ## They haveto be yellow

clear mini gel cap black ( could be dark green or very dark red) thick liquid unkarked ## If there are no markings it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required to have a unique marking to enable their identification. However, there are quite a few over the counter products that meet this description, including several herbal supplements. I even have a fishoil capsule that looks like this. There is also a small chance it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone else have an idea what this is?

Need to see what this particular pill looks like. ## Since this is a generic medication, there are many on the market and I can't possibly post pictures of them all. Can you post back with the markings on the medication in question? If so, I will gladly check for you to see what it is.
