What is the medication known as Thaloda used for and does it have anything to do with cancer? ## Thaloda (Thalidomide) is being investigated for treating symptoms of prostate cancer. In a small trial, Australian researchers found thalidomide sparked a doubling of the number of T cells in patients, allowing the patients' own immune system to attack cancer cells. If you're treating prostate cancer, then I strongly urge you not to go off of it, without speaking to your doctor and at least replacing it with something else. Are you having problems with the side effects from it? Why do you want to stop it?
