I am a COPD patient and was using Betnelan .5 for some years.Now, this drug being unavailable in market , Doctor prescribed me Predmet 4 mg. Can it be used in treatment of COPD? I'm also using anti-diabetic drug.Can Predmet have any interfering or adverse effect? ## Predmet contains the active ingredient Methylprednisolone, which is steroid class medication. I'm a 58 yr old male, suffering from COPD, living in Calcutta in India. My city is highly polluted. I have been suffering from Asthma for 25 yrs. It is in the family. I have been prescribed Predmet 4mg Tablets 2 tablets each day for 3 days. I have a fungul infection in my ear which is inflamed and the ear discharges when I am asleep. I am 80 years old. I have a) Night dry cough spoiling my sleep and well being. b) Have lack of stamina after early morning hours worsening to inability to walk even a hundred meters by evening. I was diagonised fungal infection last year and advised Predmet 8 mg bd and also taking Bod zedex syrup for coughing and regular use of inhaler Aerocote twice. Used this course for 4 months and was recovered. Now after period of 5-6 months ,I feel a little problem of coughing and sputum . Though sputum does not much say 3-4 spots daily , but wheezing often during day time and more while sleeping . Advise in this situation can I continue use of Predmet for a few days to get relief and whenever I face this problem sometime in between. I am 14 years old. One week before a ball hit on my left eye. I got severe injury. Doctor suggested me to take Predmet 8 mg tablet 6 per day (for every three hours for the first 5 days). predmet is tablet for spondilosys ## I can't find any information on this, however, based on the name it MIGHT contain the steroid Prednisone to help with inflammation, but I cannot be certain of that. Do you have any other information on it?

What can happen if you take too many tablets of Predmet 16 mg all at once? Is it life threatening?
