I have been suffering from R Arthritis, Interstitial Lung disease and Hyper Tension. prescribed doses increased from 8mg to Predmet 16 for last two months following recent problem of Coughing. Presently my eyes(bottom lead) swelled , puffed (or puffy) lids. In addition having noted compression fracture in L1 and L4, Osteoporosis?. It is due o prolonged use of Predmet for last two years with varying dose. BP is controlled. Other medicines: Ramistar 5mg+Minipress XL 5mg,Citromacalvit1200mg,PantocidIT one tab per day. Inhaler Foracort400 - 2+2puffs daily. I have been prescribed predmet 16 mg for my numbness in right hand due to spondilitis. what is it? what are the side effects of it? ## Predmet contains the steroid Prednisone, it is used to help treat inflammation and swelling. predmet is tablet for spondilosys ## I can't find any information on this, however, based on the name it MIGHT contain the steroid Prednisone to help with inflammation, but I cannot be certain of that. Do you have any other information on it?

my mother( 61 yrs ) was advised by doctor to take predmet 16 . so she was taken it . when i take her for eye surgery they have tested blood sugar level . i was shocked because it shows 460 . My wife has been taking predmet 4 mg since last two years regularly , for first one year 8 mg daily , then 4 mg daily and since last 3 months 4 mg after one day intervel.She has stopped it las 15 days for some reason and today i have noticed some black spots in her body.Is it the side affect of sudden stop of using the drug ## I'm sorry, but what do you mean by black spots? What can happen if you take too many tablets of Predmet 16 mg all at once? Is it life threatening? If someone takes a high dosage at once, what can happen and if you induce vomiting right away, will that help? ## According to CIMS, Predmet is a brand of Methylprednisolone from India. That being said, it's a corticosteroid, so in case of overdose you should call 911 or poison control WITHOUT DELAY. I am taking Vegas of and predmet 2 mg. Early I took predmet 16 mg then 8mg then 4 mg now I reached 2mg. My doctor said to avoid NSAIDS. But today I have a savior tooth pain and my dentist prescribed me synapse tablet. It is a NSAIDS.. what shall I do? Is there any non NSAIDS for inflammation?? Pls help me
