What's the name and what's it used for? ## Hi Chetniks, Just out of curiosity, what shape is this pill you're describing? So far, the closest match I've seen is a round white pill imprinted with L434 on one side and scored on the back. [Pseudoephedrine 60mg + Triprolidine 2.5mg]. I've also seen an oblong white pill imprinted with L484 - albeit the 8 could probably be mistaken for a 3 depending on the condition of the pill. [Acetaminophen 500mg] Lastly, I've also come across an oblong white pill imprinted with 44 334. [Acetaminophen 250 mg + Aspirin 250 mg + Caffeine 65 mg] Do any of these sound like a remote possibility? ## White oblong pill with 4434 on one side and blank on the other. I looked at the pill upside down also and am not certain if this is a Tylenol or something else? Any ideas? ## @Jack, You had mentioned looking at the pill upside down also... Upon doing so, did you get the notion at the the "7" was an upside down "L"? Or that the "4"s appeared more accurately? I'm only curious because there's a white oblong pill imprinted with "L484" that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500 mg) and it's pretty much the exact opposite of your depiction when held right-side-up. NDC: 30142-0484 / 56062-484 / 49348-042 Inactive Ingredients: - Carnauba Wax - Starch, Corn - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Povidones - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed I hope this info helps!

I found a half of a white oval pill scored 84 (the left half is missing) In my teenage sons room. I'd like more info befour I ask him about it. Any help or advice please? ## With only half of the pill, so this site doesn't know the full imprint, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. There are several possibilities, both among prescription medications and over the counter products. Just as an example: A white, oval, marked L484 is 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic, or store brand of Tylenol. It could be half of this one is the imprint is kind of shallow and not well done, since it's an over the counter product. Does anyone else have any ideas of what this could be? ## found the same thing in my pocketbook when I emptied it andU I believe it is an OTC Aceto...
This is an oblong (oval), white tablet with the imprint L 484 on it. Somebody told me it is a pain killer but I don't know exactly what kind it is. Was looking through my meds for Tylenol for arthritis & back pain (deteriorating spinal column) and found a vial of white oblong pills with L583 on one side. Are these Tylenol? ## I found pills meeting that description in my container of Kirkland Acetaminophen 650 mg. (Arthritis Pain relief) pills. ## From what I understand all of the imprints with "L" followed by three digits (e.g. L484, L583, etc) are indicative of various over-the-counter products; often manufactured by LNK International Inc. As far as the pill identity is concerned, it could be Acetaminophen as post #1 suggested, but I just came across a Kirkland Acetaminophen 650mg pill with a National Drug Code of 63981-544 that bears an imprint: L544 as opposed to L583. The NDC code points to a brand called "Kirkl...

I have a white oblong pill with no score, and has an L434 imprint on one side and nothing on the other side. Could this be a Lortab? ## Based on the pill description, I've located an "oblong" (capsule-shaped) white tablet marked L484, as well as a "round" white pill marked L434. Unfortunately, neither one of these are Lortab (Hydrocodone Bitartrate + Acetaminophen). The L484 tablet contains Acetaminophen 500 mg without any Hydrocodone (NDC 30142-0484). Acetaminophen is a mild pain reliever and fever reducer. While the L434 pill contains Pseudoephedrine (60 mg) + Triprolidine (2.5 mg); which is used to help relieve a common cold, hay fever, and allergies. (NDC 00113-0434). I hope this information helps! ## I can look different ways but if the pill has the letter L be...
I have a long white oblong pill that broke in half and is blank on one side and all I cal make out is L and maybe a number or letter then 84, what could it be? ## Hi Amy, The white oblong pill could have the imprint "L484", which would identify it as Acetaminophen (500 mg). I have this pill. I'm not reading it upside down. It has no manufacturer marks. It just has the letters or numbers 4847 and that's all. ## What pill shape oval size and the inprint of 4847 what are they and what are they called ## Hello Doug, Unfortunately after extensive research nothing comes up for a pill with the imprint 4847. I know that you said you weren't reading it upside down but just in case I found a white oblong pill imprinted with L484 that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500mgs) which is a store brand or generic Extra Strength Tylenol. This would be an exact match to your description but only if read upside down. If you are absolutely sure that you are reading it right side up it may even be a good idea to take it into a local pharmacy and see if th...
