Percocets Hydrocodone

Im wondering why I would be able to take darvacett & percocetts but I cant take vicodin. Arent theese medications all the same? Would the fact that I have a codeine allergy make a difference? Have been taking pain meds for 8 years due to terrible back. Have had 4 back surgeries with 3 of them since 2014, the last one was August 2016 which was spinal fusion L4/5 with screws, plate, rod and pins! Also suffer from fibromyalgia which is bad this time of year. I have been taking percocets 10mg x 6 daily since last surgery. Last week switched from pain management to primary physician due to cost and drive an hour away. Am now been switched to hydrocodone 10mg 4 x a day and tramadol 50mg 2 x a day. I miserable pain has increased? Having leg aches, body aches and seems pain gets worse an hour after taking hydrocodone. Is this crazy? I can't live like this. What is the difference between hydrocodone, and oxycodone? For example is five milligrams of each equal to each other? I am trying to substitute for 10/650 Percocet. When I see my MD soon, I was going to ask for the equivalent Percodan instead ( afraid of liver damage after many years )...will I have problems adjusting and what is Percodan equivalent to (3) 10/650 Percocets day? Also, Is Tramadol the only way to get off this on my own? Can medication listed in title cause liver (Bilirubin) increases? My Bilirubin labs have been coming back at at 1.6-1.9. Can it be harmful in the long run? ## The APAP is medication speak for Acetaminophen and it is very well known that long-term use of it can have detrimental effects on the liver. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? If you require a narcotic analgesic, you may need to switch to something that doesn't have the Acetaminophen in it. ## Get off that crap. Acetaminophen will destroy your liver. You're getting 5 mg hydro & 500 acetaminophen. They make percocets in low doses and with no acetaminophen. After diagnosis of lupus... been on hydrocodone and percocets for 4 years now... up to 40 a day at 10mg.... to say the least I'm over that addiction. However... after thinking it through...I decided to start the process.... last night was the worst night of my life! I have taken multiple types of pain medication I have osteoarthritis among some other problems as well. This is one I know nothing about I have taken multiple hydrocodone products I've taken Norco I've taken vicodin and things lortab lorcet lorcet plus I have even taken percocets.all of these were IR drugs . Almost all Percocets except the ones that have A332 and I can't understand why? When I take that kind of Percocet I am so ill I want to jump out of my own skin but when I take the ones that say A332 I am fine. They do not make me mean and ill and I'm wondering why if they all have the same thing in them? I have had seven hip surgeries and Percocet seems to help some. What is a Vicodin? whats the difference between A332 and M367 ? ## Pills with the imprint "M367" are generic Norco manufactured by Mallinckrodt Inc. Norco contains 10 mg of Hydrocodone Bitartrate and 325 mg of Acetaminophen. Pills with the imprint "A332" are generic Percocet manufactured by Activis. These percocets contain 325 mg of Acetaminophen and 7.5 mg of oxycodone hydrochloride. Hope this helps.

my husband was adicted to percocets and went on suboxen, now he says he need xanax to relax. ## Xanax is a Benzodiazepine, highly addictive. I worry that he is just trading one addiction for another. ## Not only is it addictive... there have been a number of deaths reported in people mixing suboxone and benzo's. It's very dangerous. And, this is coming from someone who had NO FEAR in taking high, dangerous levels of things.... I can take 40 hydrocodone's in a day, easy and mix it with other stuff too. Is their a difference between the two? ## I hace severe/chronic sciatica and the doctor has been proscribing Vicodin/hydrocodone for years......2 at a time and some days, as much as 4 doses. Recently he cut the tylenol portion so that it would be safer for my liver than the previous 10/660 and 10/500 tablets. Accordingly, he prescribed small amounts of Percocets (10/325 E712) and Hydrodone Norco (10/325) so that I could decide which worked better for me. My initial reaction was that 2 of the percocet compared to 2 of the hydro manifested mainly in drowsiness. I recently, had my med changed from vicodin 7.5mg 5xqd to lortab 10-500mg tablet. 5xqd question is, "Is the lortab a higher dose of medication than the vicodin. ## Lortab and Vicodin both contain Hydrocodone, a synthetic opiate or opioid, as their narcotic analgesic. As such, your dosage strength increase is only in the amount of pills you are now taking, not in the opioid ingredient. Oxycodone, used in Percocets and OxyContin, is slightly stronger . . . a 5/325 Perc is equivalent to a 7.5 Lortab. Found bottle of oblong white pills at friend's house who had prob with rx vicodin & percocets. (Seems to be clean for awhile) Smallish, white, oblong pills. Said she she got from hosp awhile ago when she was 'still using.' Is the watson 820 4.5/0.38/325mg stronger than the watson 843 10mg hydrocodone 325mg? ## Hello, I was able to identify the yellow pill with the WATSON 820 imprint as aspirin (325 mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (4.5 mg) + oxycodone terephthalate (0.38 mg).
