Parasites
60 Topics FoundI have what I believe to be nose parasites. I have like their base in my right nostril that can be soft or turn hard when trying to dig out. It's up in the very top and seems to go up even farther up, around and when trying to dig out the pain even comes down into my top gums. When I get pieces from it it is dark red. I was drinking 30 drops of black walnut with a couple ounces of organic apple juice 3 times a day. Occasionally swabbing my nostrils with bw and a Q-tip. I get 4 or 5 different looks from them. One is like snot when you blow your nose until you look further, it has a head and can be up to 3 in. long. When flushing my nose with BW I get black bat like shaped with a lot of snot both in my nostrils and down my chest to my lungs. The other is just black snotty stringy s*** ...
To whomever was asking about Linzess and parasites I am having the same experience. And it hurts. Check out Worm Queen Kim or mrsrogershood on TikTok. Doesn’t talk about this but a ton of information on parasites. It’s a nightmare. I had a parasitic infection in 2019 and no one would help me. I had to start a cleanse myself and that was brutal. I won’t even say what I used because I would be terrified for anyone to try it and do it wrong. But finally I saw a Haitian doctor and she treated me and then I changed GI docs to an Indian GI doc. Not because he was Indian but because he had treated my pastor for a parasitic infection. But he completely understood because in India it would be odd to never have one. And he treated me. I don’t know. I feel like maybe it nev...
Filed under LinzessI've had parasites for 3 months now and my doc gave me a 5 day supply of Vermox (100 mg). I'm on my 5th day but I still feel the parasites inside and he wont give me anymore meds. My question is, can I take more of this and how long does it take this med to kill all these worms? Should I get another doc to give me more of this med? ## The first thing you have to understand is that many of these medications still continue to work in your body, even after you have finished your dosage of them. Therefore, you need to give it some time for it to have its full effect and see if it kills the parasites. And if he gave you 5 days of it, he actually gave you a longer treatment protocol than is usually given, because it is normally only given for 3 days. Has your doctor run any tests to s...
Albenza is for parasites. Is there anything available over the counter that will work for parasites and hopefully will not harm me? I am at my wits end with this. Please help!!! ## Hello, Lori! How are you? All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, even over the counter products. That's just the risk of adding a chemical to the body to try to rectify a problem. And no, there are not over the counter medications to treat parasites in humans. The FDA lists its typical ones as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. What scares you about taking it? ## Hi Verwon, Thanks for responding its not that i dont want take it but im having a hard time getting a doctor to properly treat me. By some slim chance thought maybe i new it was true to think their ...
Secnidazole/flagentyl is a pill taken for parasites or other body infections. Just needed to know how long will a person have to deal with side effects from taking this medicine and what are most of the side effects? ## need the info for my requirements. im a student nurse ## IN THE MORNING FOUND URINATING VERY PAINFUL. HAD INTERCOURSE WITH PARTNER PREVIOUS NIGHT. A DAY LATER NOT SO PAINFUL. SHOULD I TAKE LAGENTYL 500mg AS SUGGESTED BY MY PARTNER WHO IS A NURSE? ## I've recently returned from Ecuador and was told to take Prothelmint 2x2 (Albendazol 200 mg & Secnidazol al 94,74%, 1,0556 g)) 2 tablets each. I wasn't feeling bad before taking the tablets, but since I can't slow any food items down even after four days. Any idea how long the bowels will take to return to nor...
i take 65 mg of methadone and i have an infection of parasites. i would like to to take diatomaceous earth without getting withdrawels is that possible ## Hello, Chris! How are you? How do you know you have a parasitic infection? Additionally, even if you do, diatomaceous earth isn't proven to eradicate them and I am unable to find any information on how it would affect Methadone. Have you consulted your doctor regarding this? The FDA lists Methadone as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
I've been to several doctors with no results helping for parasites so I went and got a mail-order prescription filled for Albenza from Combitic Global. The package came in and I received albendazole tablets ip with the brand name zenzole. They are peach and oblong tablets with a score line to split but has no markings. I'm at my wits end for help and not sure what to do, so frustrated. ## Hi Lori, sorry to hear about what you've been dealing with. So it sounds like you got your prescription filled from a manufacturer in India which should TECHNICALLY contain the same active ingredient as a domestic drug. While I can't give you medical advice I have heard of individuals being just fine with generic equivalents from out of the country. The challenge, however, is that forei...
I was prescribed Secnidal 500 @ 1 every 12 hrs for 4 days to kill Blastocystis Hominis Parasites. I was told I would experience bad cramps, nauseous and be very sick. I am on my last pill and have no such feelings. After "resting" 7 days, I am to take Trimetoprima 80mg & Sulfametoxazol 400mg for 7 days. Do you have any recommendations if this will purge my system of this parasite. Should I be concerned that I feel no pain?? ## Hello, Der! How are you? Not everyone experiences the side effects from a medication, they usually just tell you that to warn you, because most people do. However, if you didn't, that doesn't mean the medication didn't work, it just means that your body tolerated it very well. Only time will tell whether or not it worked. Are there any othe...
Husband has had diarrhea for three weeks now after having a flu shot. Lab tests say no bacteria or parasites. ## Husband is improving. Doctor prescribed diphen/atropine. ## Hi Nancy, It sounds to me like your husband may have had food poisoning or something of that nature. Does he recall if he's been eating something that could've triggered the diarrhea in the first place? Other questions I would ask, is if your husband has been on any sort of detox supplement, laxative, or otherwise eating a lot of citrus fruits that promote loose stools. From my perspective as a future dietitian; one things for sure, whatever food was built up in his digestive tract was ready to be pushed out. It would make sense that he was probably constipated or bloated for a number of days prior to having ...
