I'm having a hard time finding a pain management dr in New Jersey, I'm wiling to travel to Philly. I've been on my medicine since 2008, my doctor just suddenly stopped writing my scripts, now what. I have been on two or three pain medications for almost 20 years that have kept me going but my old pain management doctor is not there now and the ones who took over for him say they cant see me again because I did not tell them I was on meds from another doctor but I did let the doctor that I had been seeing know I was on the medicine plus the medicine he gave me. I am totally very upset. I am not a person who wants to do the drugs that I do but if I want to live a normal life I need them. My physician has suggested using this steroid in conjunction with my marcaine injections into my paravertebral lumber nerves. Any thoughts? ## Run as fast as u can! after being given this drug for a short period I developed avascular necrosis of both hips. I also have bowel and bladder disfunction as well as neurological issues. Please read all lit. on this subject, and dont believe it is safe. also drug is known to cause a condition that causes the spine to rot. do not take any steroids in epidural or caudel form near your spine. they r not fda approved meaning steroids for use near the spine.

It is illegal for a private practice doctor to prescribe it for addition treatment or maintenance, under current U.S. law, that can only be done by those specially trained in its use for such in a clinical setting. Hi, my name is Scott. I've been on roughly 180-240mgs of 30mg roxicodone for going on six yrs now. Several yrs back I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and as time went by things got a lot worse. Well about a yr ago I went in for a doc visit and my doc told me he was retiring. And due to the past, my drug panels have shown up positive for thc. So there wasn't another doctor around that would prescribe me pain meds again. We live in Burke VA. My husband has a rare disorder, Tardive Dyskinesia, that causes spasms and severe pain in his jaw and tongue. Currently there is no cure. He went to general practitioners, dentists, and neurologists, 7 in all, and none of them could figure out what was causing his problem. Finally a very respected and kind maxillofacial surgeon told my husband he would do everything he could to find out what the problem was. My name is Lorre im looking for a new pain Dr in the Wis. Area my current Dr is leaving her practice as of July 1st. She prescribed 10 mg Methadone and 30 mg Oxycodone I've been with her for 6 years taking the same for that many years. Anyone know of a Dr that prescribes these type of medications? I've had 2 cervical fusions do to the first one fell apart after a year. So I had to have a post cervical and a interior fusion done ended up with a nerve disorder called dystonia . Are there any good drs in or around Lexington NC that will get me back on my pain meds without all the drama? I have been on Roxicodone 20mg 5xs a day, prescribed through my primary care dr. He started to get afraid of prescribing the amount of medication I needed, after 2 years, and referred me out to a pain clinic. In 6 months, I have had 5 u/a's, several pill counts, and it doesn't appear to be getting any better. I have Medicare and 1 u/a alone leaves me with a bill of $62 left over to pay once Medicare has paid their part. The whole thing is just getting to be too costly! My son's wife is claiming her doctor told her she has lupus. I say claimed because she is a compulsive liar and we have not seen any of lupus or that he has even said this. She has a prescription a doctor is giving her of 150 Oxycodone a month that she uses up in 2 weeks. This is a huge concern of mine because the children are being neglected while my son is at work. She is so drugged up, the 1 and 2 year old are left gated in her bedroom while shes passed out from the drugs. Also, her pysch is gone. Shes irrational, turned very mean and abusive. I suffered a neck injury that caused me to have 2 discs fused and one artificial disc implanted in my neck. My dr. Prescribes pain meds but it's not enough and the dosage is not enough. I am currently on Percocet 20 mg and Xanax 2 mg. I'm looking for pain management dr. near me who can help me with this problem. May I order tramadol? I used to be prescribed hydrocodone dilautid tramadol soma. I do not want to be on hard core drugs. Tramadol works soma. Was the best for my spasms but I am open to anything. Wanted to introduce a wonderful clinic I had heard of for years and finally went to before Christmas. I have been treated like I am a "REAL" patient. Hi, my name is Sean. I have had multiple back and shoulder surgeries. My most recent back surgery was for cauda equana syndrome and my left shoulder has no cartilage left in it.
