This new 224 pill is awful!! I get 180 a mon for severe migraines and its bad enuff I get nauseaus due to the pain. This new generic for from sun manuf makes me nauseas,and I get hives along with dry mouth! AWFUL! I went back to my dr that wrote me a new script. The bad side of it is I had to pay cash for them! I'm sure Sun will be getting a lot of negative feed back. I also read that it is sold in India black market!! ## Virtually every medication is available on the black market, in various countries, however, that means nothing in relation to its quality. I am on 30mg Roxycotin (oxycodone) 180 tablets per month. I have insurance, however, cannot find a pharmacy that has supplies of prescription (I hear many people are having this issue recently). My doctor might prescribe an alternative. I am very afraid of the alternative due to not understanding how medications translate. I fear it not being adequate for me to function and go to work. What is a viable alternative? Does anybody know. I am told dilaudid (I cannot spell the med.) Most unaffiliated pharmacies will always be cheaper in price for people without insurance. Walmart/Target/Walgreens/Costco/CVS etc are big chains and will not help ppl without insurance. Stay away from those phony Medical cards claiming to save on RX's prices, they do no good for you. They basically tell the pharmacy to charge you more than cost, and split the difference with the pharmacy, hence you pay more then necessary. On average, you can get 180 QNTY 30MG Oxy from independent pharmacies for around 100$. I have multiple back injuries starting from being a gymnast when I was younger, being in a abusive relationship, and then taking a really bad fall in a local supermarket. I've had xrays, mri's, physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, inj's. The last resort was back surgery and I replied, "absolutely not" I'm sorry but nobody is cutting my back open. my pain dr. who I have been seeing for over a year have end stage brain lung cancer has been writing for 180 8mg diliuidid and 175 mg fentenol patch all is well and working today I saw his asscioaite and she changed my diliudid to 10mg Percocet every 8 hrs is this ethically right my organs are already compromised and now she wants to put acetaminophen into my liver ## Hello, Joey! My fiance has permanent spinal cord and nerve damage from a spinal fusion surgery in 2001. He was a very active, happy, outgoing person, now he lays in bed 24/7 and suffers. I am a 20 year chronic pain sufferer who every 3 years or so has to detox off 180-240 mg Oxycodone to lower tolerance. Then I start back on 4-6 Percocet a day and gradually increase dosage as needed. How much 200 mg ms contin equals 120mg oxycodone? Also if 90mg oxycodone is taken in the morning then 2 more 30mg pills thru the day how would that be equated with 200mg ms contin for ALL DAY RELIEF? ## Oxycodone is one a half times stronger than Morphine, so for each 120mgs of it that you were taking, you'd need 180mgs of Morphine to be equivalent. So, you'd need 135mgs of Morphine to equal the 90mgs of Oxycodone and 45mgs of Morphine to equal each of the 30mgs Oxycodone tablets, for a total of 225mgs of Morphine to be equivalent. I was taking 4 80 mg oxys daily my doc put me on 2 100 mg teva morphines will it help the same and will i go through withdraw thank you ## The equivalent dose would actually be 120mgs of Morphine to equal each 80mg Oxycodone that you were taking, so you've actually been put on a lower dosage. My husband was on suboxone 60 mg the for 3 years. Recently he stopped suboxone cause he is in pain with his hip and needs a replacement. He started taking 120-180mg of morphine for about 3-4 days and then stopped the morphine, waited about 9-10 hours, and went back to suboxone.
