Hello, my name is wayne, I am a chronic pain/patient.. some days are worse than others for the last 20+ years.. yes a long time. i have a hard time with getting meds at times ..not because of my doctor. But DEA crack downs.. and different doctors i need to see for different reasons. (some doctors just don't like pain meds). Getting so hard in Washington state.... and this time of the year gets BAD for me and my pain levels... The last two months my meds have changed in looks and numbers. The old ones were v 215 or 214 and the normal #. Now they have just k/8 on one side only and are very shiny. They do not have the regular effect.. On top of this I have had problems with sour stomach/sulfur and lots of gas. I have NEVER had ANY problems with this before ... and i was sick for two we...

Can I take a Tylenol 500mg with this (k8) oxycodone pill? I've been told I can but don't want to if it's gonna harm me. ## Yes, you can, if your doctor approves, it does augment that action of the Oxycodone in some people that take it. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. There is actually a combination medication available, the name brand for it is Percocet, though a generic is also on the market, it contains Acetaminophen/Tylenol, with Oxycodone. Are you on any other medications?

My pharmacy just switched generic brands again to KVK tech. I take the 15 mg pill. Are these effective for pain relief? I've tried other manufacturer's brands and they worked okay. Does anyone know about these K8 pills? I really hope the pharmacy stops changing generics each month. ## Hello, Dobie13! How are you? If you've not had a problem with the other generics, then it's very likely that this one will also work well for you, but the only thing you can do is try it and see. As to the pharmacy changing regularly, that is most likely going to continue. It will happen, whenever they need to restock and they will order whichever one has the cheapest price at that time. It's what is always done with generics, to help keeps costs as low a possible for their cash paying ...

Is K8 a regular release or an extended of Oxycodone ## It is an instant release 15mg oxycodone. If u need anymore information just ask. I may not know it rite then but i can find the answer. I like helping people. ## Hello, Tj! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by KVK Tech and they list it as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Just an FYI for everyone, the only instant release Oxycodone available is in a 5mg capsule. Tablets are either regular release, which will take about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, or the time released Oxycontin that is slowly re...

What is the difference between the 15mg with the v's or the k8's or the A214 ## Hello, DayDay! How are you? All of the tablets you've asked about contain 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, which means that the only difference is that they've been manufactured by different companies. This is very common with generic medications, because when they are manufactured by several companies, it creates market competition to help keep prices down. However, in order to trace them back to a specific manufacturer, in case of emergency, they are required by law to have unique imprints, so they have to be different from each manufacturer. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

why be restrticked for purchase 30mg of oxycondone if u r pay cash as opposed to using health insurance...... ## I can only speculate that the reasoning behind it is simply because they are trying to cut back on the supply, despite the high demand for it. They know very well and good that not everyone taking these medications has health insurance, nor can most even consider affording it. It's almost like a silent way of attacking people who heavily rely on taking this particular medication. Probably to force patients to get health insurance so they can have more control over what you take. This is just my theory but I'd be interested in hearing other people's opinions on the matter. ## I've been on it for many many years. I am on public aid and last month they decided th...

I was given a round light green pill for pain. It's imprinted with K8 on one side and a score mark on the opposite side. All I keep finding is Oxycodone 15mg, but all of those are scored through the K and the 8. Any ideas? ## The real version of this light green Oxycodone hydrochloride 15mg tablet has a score line in between the K | 8 on the front and nothing on the back. For verification, the manufacturer is KVK Tech Inc. and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 10702-008. Additionally, the pill is approx. 6mm in size. Anything outside of this description should be observed with caution; especially if you didn't receive it from a licensed pharmacy. Hope this helps!

Whatever these pills are, they are hands down the worst... They have zero effect on my cancer pain zilch.. Then I run into a online actavis recall of oxycodone. What the hell is going on? I was taking kvk tech K8 and wow the pain was long gone within 20-30 min and lasted a lot longer. However, here in Florida they are no where to be found. I need help. The docs that prescribe can't do anything. Walgreens are pretty much like hey that's all your getting. I hate even picking the damn things up period, it's like a sleeping pill? Does anyone have any insight please?? I'm hoping and praying I can go to ERs. I was getting 120 now cut back to 90 and let me tell you they just do not work. Like I said I take still have pain, I feel dopey, eyes close, off to bed I go. Anyone else ...
