Newbie here. ## hi, as far as i know if you are using micropil, the 1 week pill-free is the time you will have your menstrual period. So, i mean you don't want to have contact if you have your period. hope this will help. ## There is no harm in having intercourse during your period, other than a possible mess. As long as you have been taking it as instructed, there should not be any risk of pregnancy, according the NIH.
