My doctor recently left the practice. He was my GP and wrote all my meds including pain meds for my spinal stenosis. The doctor he referred me to is writing them but she is reducing them and told me that the practice is trying to get patients on narcotics over to pain management doctors. I know that many pain management doctors do not write prescriptions and instead do injections, PT, etc. I have been down that road with nothing to show for it. Does anyone know of a good pain management doctor that will write pain meds but not subject you to a UA every single month or an office visit every single month? I'm looking for a psychiatrist in the Oklahoma City area who is willing to prescribe xanax or meds like it. I have severe anxiety with crippling panic attacks and have tried almost every other med out there but everything else seems to either not work or make it worse. My wife and I moved from the state of Missouri where she received great care from a female Psychiatrist In Springfield Missouri that prescribed my wife 1Mg of Klonopin 3 times a day. We only had enough money to move to Miami Oklahoma when the problem started with another doctor (Dr. Sangal) who cut her dose in half and the doctor after Dr. Sangal (Dr. J. I am seeking a pain dr. in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma or surrounding area that does not treat patients as criminals for needing pain meds. Broke neck in 2007 has left lasting pain in several areas of body. The pain is always with me and is unbearable at times. I need a Doctor in Oklahoma City that will prescribe Methadone. I've had chronic pain for most of my life. I took lortabs or similar meds for yrs. Got into a bit of trouble so got on Methadone maintenance therapy. This works for me most of the time. I'm just so tired of having to pay $240/mo for it. Plus, all the "hoops" they make u jump thru. I just moved to the Dallas area. I have congenital disc degeneration disorder. I suffer from muscle spasms and neuropathy. The only thing that truly helps me with my pain is valuim or Xanax. Does anybody know a doctor in Dallas that will help me with a prescription of this medication? I do have an MRI but it's in Oklahoma City. I am low income so it has to be affordable. ## Xanax and Valium and the like are not traditional pain meds although some Doctors will prescribe it. I am a veteran who needs a doctor who will figure out what's wrong with me. I am ANA pos. I have mottled skin covering my back and limbs. I am Sjogren's pos. and have degenerative disk disease and spinal stenosis in my neck. I am taking Gabapentin 300mg 3X day, Hydroxychloroquine 200mg 2X day, Meloxicam 15mg 1X day Paroxetine 40mg and Alprazolam .25 3X a day..Omeprazole and B-12 daily. I have a primary care doc. in Mt.
