I was prescribed Meloxican 15mg for knee pain. RX bottle indicated 1 tab/4 times daily. Took 30 pills in short amount of time. Also was told to take acetaminophen between RX if needed. Went to refill RX and pharmacist said that original RX was written to be taken 1 pill/1 daily. (She wondered why I was refilling so quickly) So now I am concerned if I have taken a toxic amount of meds. I called poison control and was told there was no actual data to indicate toxic amounts of this RX. No side effects other than a little nausea and diarrhea. I have stopped taking RX and acetaminophen now. Any thoughts if I may have any permanent kidney or liver damage? (took 30 pills in 12 days and 58 years old) ## Hello, Yvonne! How are you? It may have done some damage, but the only way to find out for s...

Can a pharmacists change the doctors written prescription or more to the point can anyone other than the doctor alter or write on the prescription face to change the refill or prescribed dosage time. If not then how does one go about filing a complaint. Altering a document and with the Florida law as written would that be considered forgery. ## Of course changes can be made, but they have to be authorized by the doctor and, if the prescription is for a controlled substance, then an entirely new prescription should be written to be on file at the pharmacy. Learn more prescription drug details here. What type of changes were made and what was the prescription for? ## I had a prescription filled and the pharmacist said the medication wasn't available in the strength the doctor ordered....

my roommate tried to get 5mg percocet filled at a 24 hour cvs. after they made him wait for 25 minutes they informed him that they will not fill it because he is uninsured. he had filled rx's there before many times. he has been dx with cancer. and he is in a great deal of pain. he went to the er they gave the rx and cvs refused to fill is. my question is are all the cvs's doing this or is it only this one in northeast pa? and if this is true then i ask that all who read this stop going to cvs. this is the most unfair thing i have ever heard. ## It is up to the pharmacist if they want to fill any rx. If your friend has terminal cancer, there should be a code on the rx that lets the pharmacist know that the patient has terminal cancer. It may be that your friend had gotten anothe...

My pharmacy is billing my insurance 2 days early sometimes 1 day. He is closed on Sundays. And I did not notice this at first but went back a full year since now he is giving me problems on filling my medication. He said he goes by the manufacturer date that tells him when to release it. Then I asked what date are you going by, and he stated 'date filled'. But if your filling it and billing my insurance two days early it looks like I am picking up my medication early but I can not pick it up until the 30th day. And if he's closed on Sundays I have to wait till day 31 sometimes day 32. I never abused my medication. I have a letter from the DR that I never asked for Medication early and I am supervised carefully. He is counting wrong from the date he fills it and when I pick i...

unable to find a pharmacy that will fill my perscription for roxicodone 30mg ## Where are you located? Without at least a general idea of your location, it is going to be difficult for anyone to help you, because we have people that use this site from all over the world. If you're in Florida and someone knows which pharmacy has them in stock in Bangladesh, I doubt it will be very helpful. One tip I can give you is to actually go in to the pharmacies, with the prescription in hand and ask if they can fill it for you. If you are just calling them, they have no way of knowing whether or not you are a legitimate customer and due to the risk of theft, they will not usually give you an accurate answer over the phone. ## I hve prescriptions for 30milli roxy I'm frm Brooklyn ny where ca...

Ive been taking suboxonr for 2 yrs, my insurance switched me to zubsolv which ive been on 1.4mg every 2 days for 5 months. I went to urgent care center for strep throat and was given pain med script for norco. It was dumb to fill it and i found a pharmacy to do it but i dont want to take them and now im affraid my regular pharmacy will see that and not fill my refular zubsolv prescription. Any thoughts on this, please help!f ## Your dr will also see that the two rxs were filled. ## @jess, I believe the only honest way to know for certain what the pharmacy will do regarding your situation is to ask them directly. They will always adhere to their stringent policies, so if you don't get the answer you're looking for from them, then it seems to me like it would probably also be a go...

I went to a doctor in PA that prescribed me subutex. I went to a few pharmacies in the area (Washington, Pa) but they only carried Suboxone. After 18 years of filling my methadone prescription in Sevierville, TN., I can no longer find a pharmacy that will fill it because my Doctor is in another city than where I live. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Knoxville, TN or Sevierville that will fill it? ## I'm sure you've probably got it figured out by now or at least I hope you have but just for future reference a friend I used to hang with goes to a pain clinic in Knoxville and he always gets his methadone filled at a Food City in Newport. ## What was the reason they used to not fill it anymore? Especially after 18 years!

I have a Kentucky Licenses and went to a pain clinic in GA, they prescribed me Oxycodone 15mg and Hydrocodone 10mg. I have been to several pharmacies in Kentucky and cannot get them filled. Does anyone know where I can get my prescriptions filled rather here in Kentucky or out of state in GA or TN?? Please Help at all if possible, thanks! ## I understand your dilemma, but unfortunately don't know what to do about it. You are kind of running into similar problems in whatever state you try to get them filled, there is always a piece of information that the pharmacy has to be suspicious of, because they can't easily verify it. Why didn't you go to a local pain clinic? ## Is a pharmacy by law allowed to keep or tear up your script ## If you people would go to a Legit Dr, you wou...

My Dr. has increased my Vicodin prescription from 5mg to 10mg. I filled the 5mg about 2 weeks ago. In Illinois, will my pharmacy fill the 10mg prescription, or will I have to wait for the 30 day mark? ## In most cases, they should fill the new one, but it is actually up to your pharmacy, it really depends on their concern about you doubling up on the Acetaminophen by taking 2 of them. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Have you been able to get it filled, yet?

My doc is in Tennessee and my insurance doesn't cover it because I am in Kentucky. ## Zero, you have to move. You live in a state that doesn't care about quality of life. Blame all these kids now abusing Suboxone. It's a very sad world we live in. ## Can you pay out of pocket? Suboxone is a lifesaver for me and my husband, and if you can find a way to pay maybe in installments, I suggest trying the generic! ## I have heard that they will fill these at Bedingfield pharmacy in Pembroke pharmacist name in Nelson Family owned and these girls have said if they go in close to closing he gives them a much more personel customer assistance these are written by Dr Bynes although it seems if all that is needed hospice should be at your side in the soon to be last mininutes.

I am taking oxycodone/acetaminophen 7.5–325 mg. The pills are usually pink and round in color. Today I went to pick up a new prescription and they are white and oblong in color. Is it just because it's a different manufacturer? The new pills look like hydrocodone/acetaminophen. ## I've been taking Hydrocodone due to a degenerative spine and a total reverse shoulder. The pharmacy I've been getting my meds from have been steadily gone up in cost. They changed the order from what my doctor ordered. I can not take generic versions, especially aurora, which causes more pain than it takes away. How can a pharmacy change orders? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Yes, it is possible, that it might be a different manufacturer. Can you please post back with the markings on it? That ...

Anyone know of a legal web based pharmacy to get antibiotics filled with a prescription? ## The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. What antibiotic has been prescribed? Do you have insurance? Are you on any other medications? ## If you have not found a pharmacy yet, try CareZone. It's an internet mail order pharmacy and they are wonderful. They accept insurance just like regular pharmacies and carry most medications. They also have an app in the Play Store. Hope this helps.

I live in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Diagnosed suffering from Degenerative Disc Disease, with Cervical Radiculopathy (one bulging disc) and Lumbar Radiculopathy (two bulging discs). I got a prescription for hydrocodone 5/325 o june 6. I got home n misplaced it and found it today. Can i still get it filled? ## Hello, Sandra! How are you? It's been less than a month since it was written, so you should still be able to, but it would be best to double check with your pharmacy to be sure. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am in Los Angeles on business and ran out of my Adderall XR 20mg. My doctor in DC sent me a script but no one will fill it due to a new CA law. Or usually if u are a longstanding user, your pharmacy (if it has a location here where you are ex: CVS, WALGREENS) will give you the supplemental supply. Usually a 2-day supply. ## Nope you cant have it called in. Its a Level 2 Controlled Substance. They won't get confirmation from my doctor. It apparently has to come from a California doctor. I have been prescribed and been taking Dilaudid 8MG for the past two years, ever since I switched from Oxycodone because of the trouble I had filling my prescriptions. I am prescribed it monthly, by the same doctor, and fill it at the same pharmacy. Always. Now they told me, on March 11th, that I have to wait until April 1st to have it filled. What the HELL? That's three weeks away! I need the medication to be able to WORK. Now I am stuck, because every other pharmacy i went to says they cannot fill it or they haven't carried it for a year. I specifically switched to this medication because of this problem. Now I cannot fill it? I have checked five Walgreens, four CVS', three independent stores, and am in a pickle.
