I am suffering from DCM, diabetes, thyroid. I am taking ivanode, cardivas 10mg, tozaar 50, for cardiac problems. For diabetes I am taking glynase and glycomet sr 500 mg twice and mebaspa since 5 months to control loose stools as side effect of metformin. Also Eltroxin 25mcg. My cardiologist has prescribed nexito plus 5mg though I have no depression. I feel extreme daytime sleepiness and sleep for at least a couple or more hours in the daytime. Also gaining weight. What possible reason could the doc have for prescribing nexito plus 5mg? Can I stop taking nexito plus 5mg? ## My post has not received any replies yet. My mother aged 87 years has started taking Nexito Plus for the past 3 days. She used to have panic / anxiety attacks in the night, and hence was prescribed Nexito plus instead of Revotril (0.25 mg). She did not sleep during the past two nights, and today has been sleeping through the day. Towards evening, she became more drowsy and is sleeping soundly with very little reaction. Her pulse rate is varying between 52 - 57. Oxygen saturation is 95-99. She is also on Lasix (40mg) - 1/2 tablet twice a day. Should we let her sleep ? Is it one of the effects of using Nexito plus ? After taking Nexito for 15 days i do feel ok, but i didnt take it again for the past 15 days and i dont want to make it a habit so i like to take when im really tense; like for 2 days & then stop. Sir I'm an ocd patient and used to use fludac 60 mg once daily and nexito forte night . im also a diabetic patient using januvia 100 mg and metformin 500 mg twice a day. Suddenly 2 days back had vomitings and indigestion so stopped all medication. Feeling now very weak and cold chills shivering and sweating. Now my psychiatrist is suggesting to take nexito forte 2 tablets and he says everything will be alright. Should I use or wait and see please reply. he asked me to stop fludac and start nexito forte. Hey i am a 20 year old girl I accidently took my mother's medicine named nexito ls yesterday night containing 10mg escitalopram and 0.25 mg clonazepm I slept a little but then woke up unable to sleep thereafter.. I anyway often have difficulty with sleeping, i won't call it hardcore insomnia but yes.. Undergone angioplasty (2 stents) implanted in 7/2010. Taking seloken xl 50 mg, amlodipine 5 mg, telma h, eltroxin 37, deplate 75 mg, ecosprine stopped this month, (having gas problem continuously, consulted GE also), pan D, Silofast 8 mg. I suffered from cervical & lumber spodolisis for 20 years. Acute sitica right leg 1998. 3 times traction management of neck & lumber. L4 L5 10mm. L5 SL 8 mm as per MRI in 2009. Now acute back pain. Unable to walk more than 4 to 5 minutes at a stretch. Pregabalin 75, nexito plus. evion 400, shelcal ct have been prescribed. I want to stop both pregabalin & nexito. Any advice? Also, what is nexito plus used for? Please explain in detail. Thanks.
