I have been reffered to pain management for protruding disks putting pressure on my nerve root in my back. Every pain management place that I have tryed to get into will not accept self pay. I do not have health insurance and really need to get in one fast because my job requires me to lift heavy things and bend over constantly. I stay in agony all day even with the 15mg oxycodone I have prescribed to me because I am running out and know I cannot get more until I get in pain management so I take only about half of what I need to make it last. I cannot afford insurance and I don't want to have to quit my job because I work for good people. If anyone knows a pain mangement clinic in the hampton roads area of Va that accepts cash PLEASE respond. Thank you ## Hello, Rob! How are you doi...

after taking lyrica for 2 months, I have damage to my optic nerve...I knew I was having trouble seeing when I was taking it, but it did make my fibromyalgia so much better and my feet quit huring....when I wen to my eye doctor he said that my eye was damaged and I had to go to a specialist....it was not caused by high pressure in my eye and he could not figure out what was going on...I can find no lawyer to represent me....they do not seem to want to take on a big drug company....I am all most 100 % sure that the lyrica damaged my eye.....good luck to all of you trying to get a lawyer to represent you....God bless each one...Carol ## this is just a guess, but there may be a small possibility you may have ms, not fibromyalgia...one symptom besides the pain in your feet is optic neuritis,...

Generic Percocet is weak, and having trouble finding brand, I'm a BK amputee. Over 20 yrs with severe nerve bundles on and off meds depending on my situation. Only prescribed 60 10mg/ 325 a month and not a day sooner. I understand the need to not to be over medicated very well. I am now left in pain often since there are days where only taking two pills daily is ridiculous. In my line of work I stand for 3+ hrs. at a time. I have had Percocet 30 mg w/ no APAP . Which I harder find and tougher to get prescribed, we are talking about quality of life and staying in the work force so I can pay my healthcare in the first place. Generics leave me taking more pills a day with worse results which damages liver no matter the amount. And Brand Percocet is not covered by co-pay. Do I find a Dr...

I told my Doctor that i have trouble sleeping and i have anxiety depression as well as Major Depression and i asked for sleeping pills but she said that urbanol can be used to calm my nerves and then make me fall asleep , is this true because i have been awake for about 68 hours now and i drank my pills every night before i go to bed , so can it be used as a sleeping pill ?? ## Hello, Kobus! How are you doing? Yes, it can, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it may work for you to help you fall asleep. Not every medication works for every person that tries it. Have you contacted your doctor about it? You need to let her know that this one isn't working for you.

I'm on a 6 day 4mg pack of methylprednisolone. It was given to me for sciatic and nerve relief. I just finished day 2, still have horrible pain, trouble walking, using the bathroom, get random headaches and diarrhea. The only way I am semi-comfortable is when I am laying on the side that hurts. I haven't had pain in my back, only from my thigh to toes. I still feel the pain when I stand and sit. The only relief I get is when I keep the leg bent while laying on it. I'm desperate for any advice. I've been to the er 4 times, given every muscle relaxer pill, and a shot of morphine. I am scheduled for an mri after the 6 days are up, but freaked out because laying on my back is extremely painful. ## Hello, Hollie! How are you? This is not an analgesic, it is a steroid medicati...

I was wondering if anyone has ever had any diabetic problems after using neurontin. I had to take it for nerve damage. I have never had any troubles with my blood sugar until after I stopped taking it. Now I have serious sugar problems. I am only 28 yrs old. My mother also had nerve damage in her arm and was also on it. After she stopped taking it, she started having extreme problems with her sugar. The thing that surprises me is that there is no history of diabetes in our family and suddenly we both end up with it within a year and shortly after stopping neurontin. Has anyone else had these problems? If so, please contact me. ## Your Md should have been monitoring yur blood sugar while on neurotin. Ican be one of the side affects are you on any other meds that could cause this-some tre...

have 2 herniated discs and sciatic nerve pain my right leg. My doctor won't prescribe them to me anymore, he thinks he's going to get in trouble. He also shames me as if I'm asking for crack or something crazy. ## Ask your doctor for a referral to another doctor like any logically-thinking person would do. ## Kev has provided you with sound advice. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. And the easiest way to get in with one of them is by having your current doctor refer you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I know about specialists and I am a rational thinking person. I asked my doctor who takes straight medicaid and he won't refer me to a p...

I and a friend are both in our later 60's. We did some looking for DBX13. We both are having some complications from Diabetes II. Hi A1c and daily counts, neuropathy and the nerve pain in the legs, plus trouble bringing down blood sugar levels and scores. We did a google search after I listened to Jenny Thompson for too long with all her different recommendations. DBX13 is surely great based on evidence online. But the product itself is not available... HOWEVER, THE LINK FORWARDED ME TO GLUCOCIL. THIS PRODUCT IS HIGHLY FAVORED BY 9/10 OF THE REVIEWS, WITH SO MANY STATING THAT IT DOES WHAT dbx13 STATES THAT IT DOES. I'LL UPDATE YOU. AMAZON IS ADVERTISING IT FOR $20 OFF AT $39.99. THAT FITS RIGHT IN WITH GNC AT $59.99 AND WALGREENS, VERY CLOSE TO THE SAME. I PRAY IT WORKS AS GOOD ...

small yellow 93832 ## What exactly is Colodopin? I cannot find anything about it online. What does it do? What is it given for exactly? ## The reason you are having trouble finding it is because you have the name wrong, it is Klonopin and there was another brand name Colotopin. It is Clonazepam, a benzodiazepine used to slow down the central nervous system to treat nerve and anxiety disorders. Here's the monograph link with more information:

Can I take tramacet and neurontin for nerve pain? ## I am taking Neurontin for nerve pain in my face. I was also given Tramacet for headaches triggered by pain in the jaw joint. The Neurontin works on the face pain but not the jaw and headaches. I have found if I take tramcet late in the evening it won't let me sleep. The neurontin helps me sleep otherwise. If I take them both in the day time there is no problem but I just take the tramacet once in a day and maybe once or twice a week. I have fibromyalgia so have had trouble sleeping for 17 years - the neurontin is like a miracle drug because I can finally sleep!! And it is the only thing I take now.

I was prescribed Nourontin today and surfing the web for info; haven't pick it up yet; trying to gather info first ## You may be having trouble finding it due to the spelling, I know it can be hard to read the handwriting on prescriptions, the correct drug name is Neurontin. It contains the active ingredient Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to be effective at treating certain types of nerve pain and as a mood stabilizer. Side effect may include: nausea, dizziness, weight changes and dry mouth. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello! I recently was switched to the the Sun Pharma version of my Bupropion SR and wanted to know if anyone has experiened or heard of trouble with them. So far, they seem to be doing the job, but I recently have developed some upper (not stomach) abdominal pain which cannot be really pinpointed to anything. (Closest so far is a pinched nerve round the rib cage) Until recently I hadn't really concidered if the switch in medicine could be the reason. Any feedback on this brand's version of Wellbutrin? As a sidenote, I had been taking the Watson version(WPI 839)for about 2 -3 years with no problems, and previously had an extremely poor reaction to Teva (an extreme crash). I've never been lucky enough to afford the read deal so cannot offer any comparisons with that. ## Hello,...

I have been taking Lyrica for about 3-4 weeks, low does of 50mg twice a day for cervical disc problems (neck) nerve pain. I am female, 42 years old. I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING MAD. Almost immediately I started experiencing a "high" feeling, and feel very disconnected to everything around me. I have trouble concentrating and sticking to any task, which is making working very difficult (I am a journalist/writer). My doctor warned me I might feel very drowsy after taking it, but I have the opposite problem - I cannot sleep. I average about 3/4 hours a night if I'm lucky. I feel very groggy when I wake and have been experiencing such violent, disturbing dreams that I constantly wake in a highly anxious state. My dreams scare me. In then I am behaving very violently to people arou...

nt 16 ## This is not Fentanyl. It is 600mg Gabapentin, or name brand Neurontin. It is used for various types of seizure disorders, convulsions and nerve pain. Side effects include nausea, headache, drowsiness, among others. ## As I recall, this isn't even available in regular pill form, they have the lozenges, and the patches, and that is all that is available anymore that I can find listed. ## That's exactly right, except for the IV doses available in the hospital, nothing else exists. ## That is what I thought, I even did a search and double checked. As I recall they had trouble getting the dosage set properly and stabilized, so they were unable to make it into tablets. They had a problem with Demerol for years, before they finally had a breakthrough and discovered other ways ...
