I have narcolepsy and was taking Suboxone strips. I got tons of energy but my insurance stoped covering them and switched me to this generic white pill with N8 on it and an arrow on the back. It gives me no energy ??? ## Has it been prescribed for this use? That's not something it is normally used for, since its possible side effects can include nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness, according to FDA reports. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Are you on any other medications? Did your doctor ever have you try an amphetamine, such as Adderall? ## Hi can you tell me what kind of pharmacy gave you that kind because I get suboxone and I’d like to get that kind filled and try them plz and thanks

Wondering what kind of pill this is? It has an M inside a box on one side and N8 on the other side. It's also orange and hexagon-shaped. ## Hello Barry, I hope you are doing well. I have found some information on your pill. The imprint of the M inside of a box is the mark of the company Mallinckrodt. I was able to find the manufacturers website and fortunately they have pictures of all of their generic medicines. The only pill that matches your description is an orange, hexagonal (6 sided) tablet with imprint 8N M, indicating Buprenorphine and Naloxone Sublingual Tablets. It looks like the marking is actually 8N, easily read upside down as N8. (NDC 0406-8020). Please anyone who might know -------- Help!!!!! ## This is something called Subutex, it has 8mg of buprenorphine and 2mg of naloxone. It is used to help people detox from opiates such as vicodin, percocet, lortab, etc. The bupreorphone is used to help the withdrawal symptoms and the naloxone is to prevent a person from abusing the bupreoprphone, such as crushing it and snorting it or taking too many. ## umm... sorry but you are wrong. Subotex is a WHITE pill, that is oblong shaped and small. The orange pill that is shaped like a stop sign that you found is called a suboxen, which is an opiate blocker. I have had the pleasure of eating 15 - 20 Percocet 30 every day for the past month. Well, my luck, and money has run out. I am hurting and don't have anything to fall back on. Last night I got my hands on 20 M362 Percocet ( the big white pills that have 10 mg hydrocodyne + 660mg acetaminophen ) and 20 Adderall COT 135. I also have 4 N8 Saboxine pills. Any suggestions getting thru this detox period ? ## Okay, first you are completely mixing up medications, so I am not even certain what you mean you have taken and what you have now. There is no 30mg Percocet, it contains the active ingredients Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and is only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. There are tablets that just contain 30mgs of the Oxycodone, so is that what you meant you were ta...

Ive been on suboxone for 8 years. Since 2006. I know a lot about the pharmaceutical properties of medications from being an addict and being obsessed with learning everything i could about them. I hear these myths about generics not being as good as the brand name and so on, let me tell you something, to become a generic the main ingredients, the ones that actually effect you HAVE to be in the exact same quantities, So if these orange 375's have 8 mg Bup/2 Mg Nal then they will effect you THE EXACT SAME WAY AS a strip ( which I'm on, and was on the old N8's forever, and so glad they have these strips now), have taken the 375's, and its the same. Is the placebo effect that strong? I cant stand hearing friends try and tell me how this medication isn't as good as the ne...

hi jim here i just stated taking these 54 375 pills yesterday they seem the same as the others just wandering are these just as good as the strips? or should i switch thanks ## Hi jim i personally dislike the gen sub 54 375. I just got them in replace of the actavis 155 ..id tell you to take the actavis 155 there the closet to the old N8 which i loved. then id choose the film strips but there not dispensing the 155 anywhere near me or anywhere in general. So id stick with the film srips if i were you.. I took back the 54 375 and got the film. ## Is there a reason why they keep dumbing these down? It's getting ridiculous at this point. Do they WANT us to relapse?

Hey... I just got a suboxone and by the markings it is supposed to be an 8/2 mg suboxone, but there was no image available on the internet. It has an N 8 on the front... and an arrow in the back. I've seen this question already asked a few times, but I got confused by your answers. Thanks. ## Mike, If it's a 8 and arrow on reverse its subutex 8mg. If not the possibilities are endless. If you received these from a legit source it should come with product insert information. If not I wouldn't risk taking something that can cause severe withdrawals if not taken as prescribed. Good luck ## The tablet with the N8 on, with the logo on the opposite is an 8/2mg Suboxone tablet. My friend is sick from opiate withdrawal. He bought what I am told is suboxone - but there are no pictures of this pill in google images It is white and round not oval or hexagon N8 is imprinted. Can anyone help! He is scared to take but also feeling terrible. ## That is generic Suboxone, 8mg/2mg (8mg buprenorphine and 2mg naloxone, the naloxone being inert as long as it is taken sublingually(under your tongue, actually can be allowed to dissolve in your mouth anywhere and will absorb the buprenorphine, and the naloxone does not absorb well sublingually) ## What did you find out? I as well couldn't find them anywhere online... were they real?? Please help... I had seen a white 8 arrow online, but never this n8. Quick reply would be appreciated!! ## I got those too. thats a suboxen its an opiate blocker ## This tablet does contain 8mgs of Suboxone, but it is inaccurate to describe it as an opiate blocker. Suboxone contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, which IS AN OPIATE! It is used to treat drug addcition and severe, chronic pain. It does, however, have some opiate agonist properties, to prevent people from abusing other drugs while they are taking it. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. Read more on it here: Are there any questions?
