i consulted a doctor and found out that my hemoglobin was low. she gave me pco plus vitamins. can i also take propan with iron at the same time? thanks ## I am having trouble finding the specifics on what the PCO Plus contains, but I do know the Propan, with Iron is a multivitamin. You really shouldn't double up, without consulting your doctor. Too much of the iron, as well as some other vitamins, such as B12 can be just as dangerous as being low in them. For instance, too much iron may cause liver damage and conditions, such as Hemachromatosis. Have you consulted your doctor? ## thanks for your reply....my doctor only gave me PCO plus but this contains only vitamin E and C..so i was thinking of taking propan with iron to increase my hemoglobin.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to locate any specific details on the ingredients found in Vol-Plus, due to a lack of available information online. Are the prenatal G12 pills suitable for vegetarians? ## Hi Jack, Because it's not listed on the product packaging, it would be difficult to know where the ingredients were sourced from without contacting the manufacturer directly. However, being primarily vegan myself... I would probably try to steer clear of products that don't state their sources on the box. Have you heard of a company called Garden of Life (Vitamin Code)? They also have a Raw Prenatal multivitamin w/ iron, except theirs is verifiably raw, vegetarian, gluten-free & dairy-free. It's about $40 for a two month supply. Definitely worth checking out! Is there anything else I can help you with? ## 4 years post gastric bypass. Of course, I have malapsorption syndrome. My doc prescribed Ferrex 150 Forte Plus, I per day. I already take a multivitamin with 400 mcg of Folic acid, other B vitamins, and 15 mg of iron from ferrous fumarate. I wonder if I'm overdosing by taking both.

I found a large beige pill on the bath room floor and the only marking on it is a large number 1, the pill is oblong btw ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is an oblong tan/beige colored pill, with "G12" lightly inscribed on one side and blank on the other.
