what color of pill ## It depends on the dosage you are asking about, as well as whether or not it is a generic or the name brand. There are some that are white and yellow, some that are all white and there are quite a few others, as well, since there are generics on the market. Can you please post back with more details?

My wife gave my 11 y.o. son a Mucinex DM tablet withj 60 mg pseudoephedrine HCL. I was not aware of this and gave him 2 tsp of Children's Sudafed, which has an additional 30 mg. Should we be worried about the total of 90 mg's? ## Is he okay? Did he show any signs of ill effects? That is a high dosage for a child his age, the usual dosage for children 6 to 11 is just 30mgs every 6 hours, to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours. Learn more Pseudoephedrine details here.

its white on one side of pill it says ph then theres a line in between 073 ## Is it possibly PH 063? We have discovered that tablet to be 400mgs of Guaifenesin, a generic or store brand of Mucinex. If it really is PH 073, then it is also more than likely an oTC item, which would explain why it's not in any databases and also why poison control didn't know what it is. OTC items are not required to have their markings logged by the government. You can see several threads about the one with the PH 063 marking here: If you are certain it is 073, then there is a good chance it contains this same ingredient, but is a higher dosage, though, at this time, we cannot confirm this. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere?

I found two different pills in the same container labeled "Guaifenesin." One is a white oval about 3/10" thick & 4/5" long, labeled "ucb" on left, scored deeply in middle, and "620" on right. The other is a much smaller, green oval tablet, about half as thick and a bit shorter, also scored between the labels "A1" and "06." ## From all I can tell, they are both guaifenesin --but I don't believe they are prescription any more--I think it is now available OTC as Mucinex. ## Chill, you are right about them being available OTC. The pill marked Ucb 620 is marketed as Duratuss G; a brand name for guaifenesin (1200mg). It's noted to be available OTC and/or via Prescription. I'm assuming this depends on the dosage? A1 06 is identifie...
