Hello and good day. I am taking ZOHYRDO ER 20 MG twice a day for cronic back pain management, AMITRIPYLINE HCL 50 MG two at bedtime to aid me in sleeping through the night. Now my doctor just prescribed METHOCARBAM 500 MG twice a day for cronic back pain management. I cannot find if there is any drug interaction between the 3 medications. Could you possibly help me in finding the information I am seeking? I recently had cervical spine surgery (fusion of 3 levels). Before the surgery I was prescribed 500mg methocarbamol three times daily. After the surgery I am now prescribed 10mg cyclobenzaprine. Can you tell me the difference between these two medications? ## They are both muscle relaxants, but the base chemicals are different, so one, or the other may work for each different person that tries it, since we are all different. I found this pill on my brother's floor and am concerned as he has bi-polar and could be self medicating himself.
